Quiet Minds - Part 2

Angie and David were walking through the forest, looking for Gold

"So, how was Neal?" David finally asked

"Eager to see Emma and Henry" Angie replied "He's hoping Gold can help bring his memories back"

"That would be an added bonus to finding him. He could get your memories back too" David pointed out

"Yeah, I really hope he can" said Angie before they heard someone screaming in the distance

The duo run towards the screams and found Gold kneeling on the ground, his hands on his head

"Gold!? You all right?" Angie asked him. She tried to grab him but he pushed her away

"No! No, no, no, not all right! Not all right!" he shouted "It's... I can't quiet the voices"

Angie lowered herself to be at eye level with him "We know that you were held captive by the witch. Do you know where she is?" she asked

Gold nodded "Yeah, she's... ah!" There's no room! No room! There's too many voices! Too many voices!" he repeated

"We got to get him out of here" David said, but before they could do anything else, a flying monkey attacked them

David unleashed his sword and hit the monkey, grounding it. He went on to fight it and Angie pulled out her gun to help him, but Gold took this opportunity to run away

"Gold!"

"He's getting away! I'll hold it off! Go!" David told his daughter as he swung his sword towards the monkey again

"Gold!" Angie shouted again, running after the man

Angie was still trying to find Gold after he had run away when she run into Neal in the woods

"Angie!" he called when he saw her

"Neal, what the hell are you doing here?" she asked him

"You expect me to stay in bed while you're looking for my dad?" he asked back "You got a lead on him?"

"David and I just saw him, but he took off again" Angie told him

"So it's true, he's alive?" Neal asked, just to be sure

"Yeah, he is" Angie confirmed

"How did he seem?" Neal asked then, concerned for his father

"I don't know what that witch did to him, but he seems a little crazy" Angie replied honestly "When I ask him about her, it was like he wanted to tell me, but he couldn't"

"Well, he can't be far. Come on" Neal began walking

"Neal-"

"You want to waste time dragging me back to the hospital?" he interrupted her "Cause that's the only way you're going to get me there"

Angie sighed "Fine, let's go"

"So New York, huh?" Neal asked Angie as they walked through the woods "Did Henry like it?"

"Oh, yeah. We all did. Life was good there, really good" Angie replied

"Didn't get lonely? Just the tree of you?" Neal wondered

"Henry has tons of friends at school, and Emma had enough with Henry" Angie explained

"What about you?" he asked

"I had someone" she said after a pause

"Was it serious?" Neal asked, genuinely curious

"He proposed"
