Think Lovely Thoughts - Part 2

"Ah, it's been a long time since I stepped foot on this shore" Pan said while he docked the boat they had used to come to Skull Island. Then he used a stick to draw a line in front of the steps and waved his hand over it

"What's that?" Henry asked

"It's a protection spell" he said, throwing the stick away "Now let's go. It's time" he said, leading Henry up the steps and into the cavern

"This is it, the place where you're going to save magic" Pan said when they entered the main room of the skull. An open space with big stone-carved skulls on the entry walls and with a giant hourglass in the middle

"Why does it have to be here?" wondered Henry

"Well, because this is the location from which Neverland's magic emanates" Pan explained

"What's the hourglass for?" Henry asked next

"Marks how much time we have left before Neverland's magic runs out" Pan told him

"It's almost empty" Henry noted, then saw Pan look around slightly alarmed "Is something wrong?" he asked

"No. Come with me" Pan said, bringing Henry to a side-room and sitting him down "There's something I need to take care of before we get started, okay?" he said, before returning to the hourglass room

Henry didn't know it, but the reason Pan had looked worried was because his family was here to rescue him

As soon as Emma got out of the boat she saw Henry's footprints on the ground of Skull Rock

"These are Henry's shoes" she said, pointing at the designs "Wendy was right, they're here"

She began following the prints towards the steps only to be thrown back by Pan's protection spell

"Are you okay?" Neal asked her as he helped get back up

"I think so" Emma replied

"What was that?" asked Angie

"Pan cast a protection spell" said Gold

"There has to be a way to break it" Regina said, conjuring a fireball and throwing it towards the invisible barrier, but it ricocheted on the walls

"Whoa! Careful with that!" Neal said, dodging the fireball

"Try all you want, but Pan's magic is too powerful. At least for you" Gold told his former student before stepping over the spell line

"What?" said Regina

"How did you do that?" Emma asked him

"The spell is designed to keep anyone who casts a shadow from entering" Gold explained

"And you don't have one?" Angie wondered

"You were telling the truth about ripping your shadow off" Neal realized

"And Pan knows it, that's why he cast the spell he did. This isn't about keeping you out. It's about drawing me in. He knows I won't give up the chance to finish what I came here to do" Gold explained

"You really did come here to save Henry" Neal said

"I gave you my trust with that box. Now I need you to give it back" Gold told his son

Neal extended the box to give it back to his father but Regina snatched it

"Hey!" Neal exclaimed, but Regina ignored him, approaching Gold herself

"You better come through Gold, or I'll make whatever Pan has planned for you look like child's play. You understand me?" she threatened him, offering the box
