The nerves were hitting Zhanghao hard, and the boy couldn't understand why he was so much more nervous this time. This was their last mission before the finale.
This was it.
Soon enough they'd be done, people will forget, disappear and lose friends.
And then what? What would Zhanghao do if he didn't get to debut?
He would probably give up his dream. He would go back to china and just work as a violin teacher.
But at least he could say that he had tried.
What if he actually made it, though?
He would realize his dream. He would perform in front of his fans, meet them.
He wasn't ready to leave his friends behind though. The mindset which Zhanghao had entered boys planet, was long gone.
Zhanghao had made lifelong friends on this show, and even though their ways would part, Zhanghao was not going to stop being friends with them.
What if... what if I debut and Hanbin doesn't? Or... the other way around?
Zhanghao gulped, adjusting his microphone.
One thing that had always helped Zhanghao calm down, was recalling moments he held close to his heart.
So he did just that.
He remembered his mother crying when Zhanghao went to his flight to go to Korea for the first time. It had been long since he'd last seen her cry like that.
He remembered the strong and beautiful words of encouragement she always told him.
And then, just before the countdown started, he remembered Hanbins speech.
Zhanghao smiled.
He was going to ace this.
Everyone had started cheering once the intro started, as the camera focused on Zhanghao.
"He's crazy" Jongwoo commented, everyone focusing on the stage.
It was a success to say, at least. When the team was back, the cheers were even louder than last time.
During the score announcement, Zhanghao was praying for the first place.
Firstly though, everyone had gotten mad because there was no way Jay placed last after delivering like that.
Zhanghao was mentally preparing a scolding speech for everyone. Jay didn't deserve that.
(A/N: he really didn't and i'm still mad)
When the first place points were announced, everyone was shocked at seeing how high it was.
Zhanghao felt almost bad, because he was growing used to hearing his name being called for his place.
The joy overthrew the guilt, though.
He was first again.
"Zhanghao!!" The trainees— no, his friends had started shouting.
And then Zhanghao turned his head, smiling so widely, his cheeks hurt.

Later that night, Zhanghao was staring around his room, the smile still present on his face.
"You might have to stop smiling like that or I'll start getting jealous of a score" Hanbin muttered, leaning against the wall with his shoulder.
"You're stupid" Zhanghao joked.
"Sometimes." Hanbin nodded, agreeing.
"Have you seen the others? It's kinda late and they aren't here yet" Zhanghao wondered, confused when he saw Hanbin smirk.
"Everyone is sleeping in other rooms, with the trainees who got eliminated... which means it's just me and you here." Hanbin came closer with every word he spoke, until they were both laying on the bed, Hanbin hovering over Zhanghao.
"W-what makes you think i don't want to go spend time with them, too?" Zhanghao mentally cursed at himself for stuttering, maintaining eye contact.
Hanbin smiled lazily, getting down to whisper into Zhanghao's ear.
"You are free to go, if you wish"
Zhanghao gulped, suddenly so happy that he remembered to cover the cameras.
"What if I don't?"
"Then... I would like to receive my reward for helping you with the choreo, remember?" Hanbin muttered, brushing his lips against Zhanghao's earlobe.
The older could do nothing else besides nod, feeling hot all of a sudden even though he was only wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
"You looked ethereal performing Over Me, today. The song was made for you, Hao Hyung" Hanbin started trailing down, leaving soft kisses onto Zhanghao's neck, till the collarbone.
Zhanghao was going to pass away if Hanbin kept talking like this.
He let out a whimper when Hanbin brushed over a sensitive a spot, which made Hanbin halt for a second.
"You're making it hard for me to resist"
"Then stop doing so" Zhanghao gave in, pulling Hanbins collar, until their faces were millimeters apart.
"Do you want to see my tattoo?" Zhanghao whispered, his confidence making Hanbin feel new things.
"Yes" Hanbin answered without a second thought.
Zhanghao smiled, letting go of Hanbins collar, "help yourself"
Hanbins hesitation had flew out of the window in that moment, as he pulled off Zhanghao's shirt swiftly.
"You're something else" Hanbin mumbled, throwing the shirt somewhere in the room.
"Well, I hope you like different, then"
