CHAPTER TEN:𝓕𝓪𝓵𝓼𝓮 𝓝𝓮𝔀𝓼

"OH MY GOD!!", are you sure of what you're saying ". Renee said.

"Yes I am, the news about my father's death isn't true."

"How do you know for sure that the news about his death, isn't true?."

Nikki looked at Teresa, she's known for asking too many questions. "Because the news said his family members gave the information of how he died, and I didn't give them any informa--", she was interrupted by Renee who said "it means it was your-your relatives."

"Yes my relatives, my Uncles, Aunt's and the rest. They gave the information about his death."

"So what does this imply?", Teresa said.

"it means that his death was caused by someone unknown, the death was fabricated to look as what they want us to know. But I will find whoever caused my Dad's death and make them pay. I remember the day my father died, he called me and told me not to trust anybody, at that time I was in Korea. I couldn't understand what he meant until he died. He knew he was going to die, he knew what was to happen, he knew-knew, oh!!." Nikki sobbed.

"come here" Renee embraced Nikki, "let your tears flow freely, let them flow, let out your grief", she said.

"How could he just die like that?, it isn't fair", she wailed unhappily. Teresa sat beside Nikki and consoled her. "Don't worry, its okay, it's alright. Let the tears flow freely."

..... After few minutes of consolation

"So where's Mrs Hana?" Renee said, "that's the one question I keep having in my head" Teresa said.

"Well, one thing I still find surprising, is that when Dad died, Mrs Hana called and told me she'd be retiring, that there was an urgent issue that came up, that she had to go. So she left before I arrived."

"Hmm..., quite suspicious, if I must say" Renee said.

"What bugs me, is that Mrs Hana left two days after my Dad died, I was on my way home. But Mrs Hana didn't even wait for me to arrive, she just left the Mansion. I've been trying to reach her, but I can't find her."

"Don't worry, we'll find a way, by the way time has passed by quickly, looks like i'll
have to go, see you next time" Teresa said and stood up to leave. "Bye Nikki" Renee said.

"Bye girls", Nikki waved them as they drove out of the Mansion.

Nikki went inside the Mansion and had her breakfast.

It was a sunny afternoon in the streets of New York. Nikki was taking a walk with her dog, Bruce, a white American Eskimo dog, was waggling his tail. They were walking along the busy street when suddenly reporters came out of nowhere to interview Nikki.

The paparazzi swarmed Nikki like bees around a beehive. "Miss Nikki, is it true that you're set to inherit billions of dollars (a fortune)?

"Miss Nikki, where were you when your father was buried?. You weren't present at his funeral."

"Miss Nikki, is it true that you and your father always quarrelled whenever you came home, how true is that?."

"Miss Nikki, will you take control of the management of your father's companies?."

"Miss Nikki, it is true that you plan on spending your father's fortune, than running your father's company?."

"Miss Nikki, it is said and i quote, that your father killed himself, do you deny that statement", a reporter said.

Nikki looked at the reporter who made the statement. All the things they were saying weren't true, and who in the world gave them these info's?. She knew it, it must be the person who was behind the death of her father, that person must have given them these false information.

Well, that person wasn't going to get away that easily. She would turn the tables in her favour, right here, right now, she thought.

"My Dad didn't kill himself", she said.

"What evidence do you have to prove he didn't kill himself?",the reporter said. Cameras were flashing and the reporters were anxiously waiting for Nikki's reply.

"Do you have any evidence to prove that he did?, she said.

"Of course, the autopsy showed he fell from the rooftop of his Mansion, he attempted to kill himself. Do you have the slightest idea why he did what he did?."

Nikki looked at the reporters, they thought they knew everything and how was she to know why he did what he did. But they were wrong and they were also clueless, they didn't have the slightest clue of what was going on. She just had to end this interview, she thought.

"No he didn't, and how am I to know why he died?. Wherever you got that evidence it isn't true", she said.

"But, the eviden.....", the reporters were cut off by Nikki.

"That's enough!!. I've said, HE DIDN'T KILL HIMSELF!!!!."

In an unknown location,someone watched the news and said "You've finally caught up, haven't you?. Let's see what you've got. The person smirked and turned off the TV.

The person moved to the window and looked at the setting sun "i wonder if you will be NEXT??."
