  "What did you just say?.... 𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙠𝙞 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏?!!!!. 

  Uncle Rufus walked about in his sitting room, he couldn't believe what he had just heard. Nikki trying to do what?.... Take Charge, no he wouldn't let her ruin all his hard work, he wouldn't.

  He picked up his phone and dialed his Son's phone number, he sat down on a chair and switched off the TV, feeling satisfied. He grinned a wide grin knowing that his plan was about to enter it's next phase.

  Uncle Rufus woke up to the sound of the Sitting room door opening, he sat up straight and tried to remember how he fell asleep. 

  His Son Mariano walked towards a sofa and took a seat, "Dad I'm back, what is the matter of urgency that you had to call for me?" Mariano said as he looked at his Father inquisitively.

  Uncle Rufus stared at his Son, he was his perfect weapon to use against his Niece, he must play his cards right in order to bring the proud peacock to her knees.

  "I called you to inform you of something important, I've arranged for you to be made the C.E.O of  W.E.L  International."

  "I thought there's a C.E.O for the Company" Mariano said with a puzzled face.

Uncle Rufus looked at Mariano, he hated it when people asked too much questions. He had almost lashed out on his wife once for being too inquisitive and now his Son was doing the same thing. He took a deep breathe and controlled his anger and replied in a calm manner.

  "Look here Son, am trying to make your life better. And f.y.i ( for your information) the C.E.O just resigned just at the perfect time, so now you can work as the C.E.O of the Company, isn't that amazing?" Uncle Rufus smiled widely.

  "Mmm.. if you say so, but do you think I'm ready for such office as that?" Mariano inquired as he fidgeted in his chair.

  Uncle Rufus stood up and walked towards Mariano, he pinned Mariano to his chair and looked at him intensely. "You are my Son, what did you think I sent you to school for?, You'll be the new C.E.O and 𝙈𝙔 𝘿𝙀𝘾𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙄𝙎 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙇!!!.... "

    Nikki arrived home tired but happy as she headed towards her room she was greeted by Betty's smiling face. She replied and walked into her room. She sat down on her bed as she flung her bag towards a nearby chair, she removed her shoes and fell face flat on her bed.

  She stood up and changed into her bathrobe, she went to the bathroom and took a shower. She came out feeling refreshed. She headed to her closet to pick a nightgown to wear.

  She opened her closet and browsed through various sections till she arrived at her evening wear section where all her night outfits are kept. She picked up a nightgown with a bird embroidery and tossed it, she picked another with a gold design and tossed it. She was annoyed as she threw clothes after clothes until she saw the very nightgown she was looking for, it was a dark blue nightgown with floral designs. She changed into it quickly and headed to the dining room to have dinner.

  When she arrived, the dining table was already set as she took a seat. Betty walked in as she placed a delicious meal of Pasta with meatballs, Chicken sauce and a cool orange juice.
