Meaningless

The 3 days of my suspension had slowly passed and I couldn't wait to get back to school. I know it's a bit weird saying that because school is school but I had been cooped in my room for 3 days - what else could I want.

I got to school and immediatly saw Monty. I walked up to him and smiled.
'Hey' I said.
'Uh.. hey?'
'Can we talk?'
'About what..?' He laughed. Seriously?
'About what happened between us?'
'Aw what happened Monty?!' Bryce put his hands on Monty's shoulders.
'We kissed..' I told his friends.
'Oh yeah.. about that Y/n it was just a meaningless kiss. Don't think too deeply into it.' He laughed and fist bumped Bryce.
'Mm.. ok then' I was hurt. I could feel my eyes watering.

'Scott Reed!' I saw Scott Reed, a tall blonde jock, best friends with Monty. I walked over to him and kissed him for at least 20 seconds.
'What Montgomery?' I said looking back at Monty 'It's just a meaningless kiss right?'

Monty looked back at me, his jaw dropped. I walked out of school to go and find Sheri. I could feel Monty's jealous gaze on me. His fists were clenched and he looked pissed. If he thought that the kiss was meaningless then surely I can go and kiss anyone.

'Hey baker.' I saw Justin coming towards me.
'Fuck off Justin' I rolled my eyes.
'Guess your back then'
'Mhm..'
'Look, can you tell Hannah I'm sorry and that it wasn't even me who sent it around, it was Bryce' he said, apologetically.
'Well who sent it to Bryce?' I said.
'Whatever, just tell her I'm sorry and to message me later'
'Do it yourself, I'm not talking to her'
'What?! Why not?'
'None of your business' I slammed my locker door and walked off.

Y/n - Oh the thing with Scott? Oh that was just a meaningless kiss, don't think too deeply into it.
Monty😐 - Y/n I'm sorry. Can we talk?
Y/n - No.
Monty😐 - Please can we talk, tomorrow at school?
Y/n - Fine.. tomorrow
Monty😐 - Ok, see you tomorrow

My phone started ringing, it was Sheri.
'Hey Sheri!'
'Y/n! Why didn't tell me you kissed Scott Reed this morning?! And you kissed Montgomery De la Cruz 3 days ago?!'
'Yeah but according to Monty it was meaningless.'
'I'm sure it wasn't but I told you to not do shit with him - he's bad news'
'I see where you're coming from now.'
'Anyway, tell me everything about the kiss.'
I told her about the place Monty took me and how he let me wear his jacket.
'Apparently Monty was pissed after you kissed Scott. He didn't talk to him all day'
'Oh well' At that moment, Hannah walked into my room.
'Shit Sheri I gotta go. This girl walked into my room'
'Hi Hannah!' I told her all about how I hated Hannah and how I would not be calling her my sister.
'Hey Sheri' Hannah weakley smiled.
'Bye Sheri' I hung up the phone.

'Y/n I don't know how many times I have to tell you that I'm sorry'
'I know you are.. so fuck off. Also, Justin says sorry and to message him'
'Ok.. thanks.'
'Your not welcome'.
