In the middle of Blood Gulch the pair of blues were hiding behind a rock with the machine gun turret still open firing around them and onto the rock.
Church: My god! Doesn't that thing ever run out of bullets?
Tucker: You know, in hindsight, we should have brought the tank.
Church: Hey Tucker, what good is a tank gonna do is nobody here knows how to drive it?
Tucker: Yeah, I can see how hiding behind a rock is a much better strategy.
Church: Well yeah, but...oh man, I guess I gotta give that one to ya.
Meanwhile at Blue base, Caboose went in and hopped into the Scorpion tank. As the canopy closed, the tank turned on with its female voice speaking.
Tank: Hello, and thank you for activating the M80V Main battle tank. You may call me Sheila.
Caboose: Hello. Sheila. Big tank lady.
Sheila: Would you like me to run the tutorial program?
Caboose: Oh, that'd be very nice. Thank you.
Sheila: Tutorial program activated. This program is intended to instruct non-certified personnel in the use of this Scorpion class tank. Let's begin with some driving.
Caboose: okay
As that happened Simmons was still relentlessly firing the Warthog's machine gun as Corporal Steve and Grif just watched him bring in hell's fury. Though as the firing went on Steve seemed to be dazed for a moment as he saw each spread of bullets.
Steve: Bloody hell, he's bursted more than 5,000 bullets, for shooting at rocks. Reminds me of....wait...was it the battle of Manchester?
Grif: Please don't have a flashback thing now Steve, we're trying to win the battle.
Steve: *sighs* Your right, either way it reminded me of that battle for some reason.
As that was happening, the tank strolled by in the background but no-one noticed.
Grif: Anyway...Simmons. SIMMONS!
Simmons:...WHAT?
Grif: Come on, let's sneak around the back of the rock and get' em out, while Simmons stays and guards the Warthog.
Simmons: OKAY.
Steve: Bloody hell, I swear a shrimp would understand that better.
Grif: Keep it down! Jesus, let's go before they figure out what's going on.
Steve: Alright then, lets smoke em out.
He said as he reloaded his Assault rifle. The Grey and Orange soldier left Simmons as they walked off with their weapons in hands.
Meanwhile Caboose somehow had Sheila stranded on a tall rock and turning to attempt to get off.
Sheila: Now that you've mastered driving the M8O8V, let's move on to some of the safety features.
Caboose: No, no, wait, go back! Why are there 6 pedals if there are only 4 directions?
Church in the meantime had peaked over from the rock wondering what was going on.
Church: Psst, hey, they stopped firing.
Tucker: Why are you whispering?
Church: Uhm....I don't know.
Steve and Grif were now standing on the foot of the cliff
Grif: Aw crap, I don't think we're gonna be able to get around this way.
Steve: So tell me again, why did we leave the jeep? This was completely pointless
The Scorpion now approached the pair behind as they continued to speak to each other without them noticing.
Grif: Well, I guess it was this or sit there and watch Simmons shoot rocks all day long.
Caboose then turned the turret to look at Grif and back to Steve as he spoke last.
Steve: I guess, I suppose it was funny.
The reds then turned around and they saw right into the barrel of the gun turret of the Scorpion tank.
Grif: Holy CRAP! What in god's name is that thing?!
Steve: It's a tank dumbass!
Grif: I know it's a tank arsehole! Pointing out the obvious isn't helping.
Steve: Nor is your complaining!
The Grey soldier however lowered his gun as he looked confused again as he gestured his hands at the behemoth in front of him, to Grif's annoyance.
Grif: Please no amnesia moment...just please.
But Steve smiled under his helmet as he giggled a bit in remembering something about the tank.
Steve: It's a Scorpion tank, heh. I always love to drive one of these things against the covenant! Made me a bad motherfu-
At the cliffs with Church and Tucker who had now scouted the warthog and looked to see Simmons guarding it.
Church: Tucker, don't be stupid. They're trying to draw us out.
Tucker: No they're not, look- they left the jeep and there's just one guy guarding it
Church: Well, I don't know about this. It doesn't look like he can take both of us...alright screw it let's just kill him and take the car!
With the grey and Orange soldier they were stuck frozen still as Shelia's HUD had locked on Grif's head with her crosshairs.
Grif: Dude, hold still. I don't think it sees us.
Steve: This isn't Jurrassic Park Grif.
Grif: The logic still works. I still don't think it can see us.
A beep went off indicating and locating a target lock.
