A/N: HEYYYY one shot time cause I genuinely don't wanna finish this fanfic yet:')Oneshot 1: Chosen..
"Miss (Y/n), you have to wake up." A gentle voice said, shaking my sleeping self. I grown, tossing and turning on my bed. "Please, the King is starting to get angry." The voice spoke again.
I jolt awake at these words, not wanting to get yelled at by my father again. "Okay okay! I'm up!"
My eyes met my servant's, as she bowed her head at me. "Today is the day you'll be choosing the one to marry. The King told me to send a message to you; 'please dress accordingly to the occasion.'"
Oh shit, I totally forgot about today! "Uhh-- Thank you for waking me up! You may leave now!" I exclaimed in a hurry.
The servant obeyed, and instantly left the room. I scurried around in a panic; getting my morning routine done, makeup, etc. If I was late to another important event like this, I would've been screwed.
I swing open my closet, revealing all of the gowns I've stored over the past few years of my life. I picked out the ones I liked best, and laid them out on my bed. My eyes scanned through all of them, and I chose a beautiful ballgown.

I raced through the halls with my heels, almost tripping along the way. The guards among the palace gave me weird stares, but I ignored them, continuing to run to where my father was.
"Look at whos fashionably late, as per usual." The King—my father's voice boomed around the large room, sending shivers down my spine.
"Apologies, father. It took me awhile to get ready." I apologized, my head low and my gaze at the floor.
"It's okay— now come quickly so we can get started." He commanded. I quickly make my way towards the thrones, and I take a seat next to my father.
I sat there, in a complete daze— as different kinds of princes walk in and out of the building.
Minutes turned into hours, and soon there was no longer any princes. Out of the 50+ men that have came, there was only 5 chosen ones; by both me and my father.
"I think Prince Luca from Australia is a good choice for you, (Y/n)." My father commented, looking at the list. "Ooh—! Or Prince Shu! He was quite respectful."
"I thought we agreed that I was the one to choose who I'd marry." I sighed.
My father turned towards me, "I know, but I only want what's best for you."
"It's been a long day, I'll be heading to my room now, father." I grumble, walking out of the my seat and to my room.
The halls felt hallow, since nobody else was around. Besides my the footsteps coming from my heels, I could hear somebody else.
I pause in my track, and swing my fist behind me. My fist collided with what felt like flesh, and a loud thud came following after. I caught a glimpse of his brown to blue hair, and I knew who it was.
"Prince Ike? Oh my— I'm so sorry!" I panic, helping him to his feet. "How did you get in here?"
"Heh— I snuck in to see you." Ike chuckles, fixing his outfit.
A blush spread across my face. Who would go risk getting caught by a royal guard just to see me? I felt flattered to say the least.
"You could've just sent me a letter, there's no need for such trouble." I smile.
"Well, writing a letter seems so cliche. I wanna win your heart somehow." He winked.
Well, if somebody went to that extent, it sure made me feel special. "Hm, I'll give it a thought."
"Alright then." Ike grabbed my hand, and planted a kiss on the side of it. He gave me a small smile, and left.
How did he get back out? I have no idea, but I think I already know who I'm choosing.

Next Day
"Have you figured out who you'll be choosing yet?" My father asked.
I nodded in reply, to his surprise. The five princes that came yesterday walked in; Prince Luca, Prince Shu, Prince Mysta, Prince Vox and of course Prince Ike.
"Thank you again for coming all this way," my father announced, "my daughter will now be choosing her future husband."
My father gives me a nod, and I step forward. I knew who my heart was set on already.
My body almost guides itself over to the emerald eyed prince. His presence was enchanting.
"Ike Eveland, the Prince of Sweden." I announced, holding his hand on mine.
A smile graces his features; "Thank you, m'lady. I vow to treat you well."
