Oneshot 2: I'm Sorry.."You can't say that you're in love with me anymore, when you were clearly too busy loving somebody else!" I cried. The pain in my voice was almost too clear not to be heard.
Ike stared at me, with a blank expression on his face. My breathing was uneven, and I could feel my heart racing inside my chest.
"(Y/n)— I'm sorry okay? I-I.." His mouth was left agape, and no other words dared to come out.
Without another word, I turned my heel and left. The chilling midnight breeze sent shivers lingering down my spine as I walked down the streets.
My house soon came into view, as I continued to drag along my feet. I searched through my pockets for my keys, but I came to a conclusion that I had forgotten them. I gently knocked on the door, knowing that Mysta was home.
It took a few seconds before he opened the door for me.
"Finally, you're home." He yawned, but paused when he saw the look plastered on my face. "(Y/n)! Are you okay? Here, come inside first." He moved aside for me to step in.
As soon as the door shut behind me— I fell to the ground, tears rolling down the side of my cheeks. I could almost phyically feel my heart break.
The two of us sat down in the living room, as I cried my heart out. Mysta rubbed my back, and occasionally whispered things like "It's going to be okay." or He didn't deserve you."

Flash Back
For the last few years now, I've developed feelings for Ike Eveland. Almost everyone knew at this point, except the one and only; Ike himself.
"You got this! Just go already!" Shu gently nudged me from my seat.
I took a deep breath, feeling fully confident. I got up from my desk, and walked over to where Ike was seated. "Hey Ike.." I greeted, feeling the nervousness crawling up my back.
"Hey (Y/n)! Do you need help with your math homework again?" Ike smiled.
"Uhh.. Actually no. I have something I want to tell you." I murmered under my breath.
"Oh! What did you want to tell me then?" He questioned.
I fumbled with my fingers, "I-I like you, Ike. I have for awhile now, and I just wanted to tell you that."
Ike took a second to process before bursting out laughing. "Ahaha! Good one! You realize I'm dating Vox, right?"
"Aha.. Yeah, I knew that! I'll get going now, see you." I mumbled, holding back tears from spilling. I straight out the classroom, with Shu, Mysta and Luca following.
I ran out into the schoolyard, and I cry my eyes out.
News spread that Vox and Ike were dating, and it made things really awkward for our friend group.
I still loved Ike. I loved him more than anyone, but he was so happy with Vox I couldn't bare it.
Another year had past, and we all graduated high school. Me and Mysta ended up moving in together, since we went to the same collage.
Shu and Luca were still great friends of ours, but Ike and Vox on the other hand— it wasn't the same. I woke up one morning to find that both of them had blocked us 4.
It was heartbreaking for all of us, and nothing could repair the hole that was left in our hearts.

I woke up the next morning, still on the couch. Mysta had his arms wrapped around me like I was a stuffed bear, it was warm and cozy.
I smiled, and slowly wiggled myself out of his grasp. I decided to go on a walk to clear my mind from last night.
The morning ray was still covered by the clouds, so it was chilly out. I past by an apartment building, only to see it was surrounded by cop cars, firetrucks, and ambulances.
Crowds were forming along the scene, but I decided to ignore it and walk away. However, I couldn't shake off his nagging feeling in my stomach.
It wasn't until another hour or so before I got home. I had a coffee in my hand, and a donut in my other while I walked in the house.
I found Mysta sitting in front of the television, looking shocked.
"What's so interesting on the news that even you are watching it?" I laughed— but he didn't laugh along.
An awkward silence filled the room, as I focused on what was happening in the TV.
"21 year old, Ike Eveland, found dead early this morning at the bottom of his apartment building.
He was found— holding onto a letter tightly at the bottom. Reading; 'I love you, (Y/n).'
We pray for his family and friends."
I drop everything I had in my hands, and drop on my knees. I felt like I was going to faint. My vision was getting blurry, and it felt like I was suffocating.
All he did last night was try to apologize to me, yet I pushed him away like he was nothing. I couldn't help but blame myself for his death, maybe if I just listened to him it wouldn't have turned out this way.
Mysta kneeled down beside me, and gave me a reassuring hug.
"I know what you're thinking— and no, it's not your fault." Mysta sighed. His voice was also shaky.
I tried so hard not to break down, but I couldn't help it. The emotions I held in for so long came pouring out. Knowing that Ike was now dead, was like a stab to the heart.
"I'm sorry.."
"Don't trust everything you see, even salt looks like sugar."
