5- Ice breaking

Winter was walking to his next class, Qibli was close behind, he was so annoying. Their next class was history, they made it to the class as Moon was trying to get through, Qibli seemed to be to focused on trying to do his flirting to notice, he was foolish.

"Qibli, I suggest you get out Moon seems to be wor-" Winter suddenly saw as an explosion happened in the history room, Qibli was flung from the entrance into the wall. Winter didn't know why but he flung himself next to Qibli, was it worry for the Sandwing, but why, was it pity... or... no it wasn't love, Winter couldn't live a sandwing.

Winter wanted to claw of whoever caused that explosion for making him confused and hurting Qibli. Winter quickly turned toward Moon, she knew, she must have done it. Winter quickly grabbed Moon and dragged her of, he wanted an explanation and revenge.

"How did you know about the explosion!?!" Winter growled at Moon as Turtle and Kinkajou aproched, "Hey, don't be mean to my girlfriend!" Kinkajou said, Winter growled and said "Well it seems like your girlfriend just bombed the history class!" Moon then said "It wasn't me!" Winter then growled "Then how did you know it would happen." Moon then said "I can't tell you, I'm sorry."

Winter walked away and said "Fine, you have 24 hours to prove to me you didn't do it, feel lucky I'm merciful." He walked towards the medical cave. Winter walked over to where Qibli was laying, his back was covered in burn marks and splinters. Winter saw the rainwing doctor and said "Is there anyway I can help my... friend?"

The doctor said "Yeah, I need to get all the splinters out before I pour the healing solutions in his back, could you do that while I mix up the solutions?" Winter nodded as he began to slowly pull out the splinters. Qibli made small noises of relief as if the splinters were fire that Winter was putting out. Winter had to admit from this angle the annoying sandwing looked quite handsome.

Winter had no idea what he was thinking but it couldn't be right. Winter finished pulling the splinters out of Qibli when the doctor said "Could you run this onto his back, I have a few more to mix but that needs to be rubbed in immediately." Winter poured the liquid on to Qibli's back, he ran his talons through Qibli's scales as he let the liquid sink into Qibli's wounds.

Qibli woke up half way through Winter rubing the liquid into his back. Qibli smirked and said "Oh, Winter, aren't you bring a bit to fast? I mean we just met a couple of days ago." Winter blushed and said "Stop being foolish, I am simply helping heal the injury you got." Qibli rolled his eyes and said in a mocking tone "Yeah, just helping." He continued "I know you must adore me."

The doctor interjected "Sorry but I'm afraid you'll have to leave while I deal with my patients, you may visit after I'm done, and thanks for the help." As Winter left he couldn't get Qibli off his mind, what was wrong with him?
