Qibli quickly flew off as he and the rest of the Jade winglet realized that Winter had left and had taken Bandit with him. Qibli wanted to be near Winter, and he also didn't want to lose the bet. Qibli saw Winter and flew at him, he wrapped his arms around Winter.
"Hey sand-lizard, let me go!" Winter growled, "Aw, come on, admit it, you missed your future husband." Qibli whispered the last part so only Winter could hear it. Winter rolled his eyes and turned dark blue as he said "I hate you, you sand-lizard."
Qibli smile and whispered "I love that as a pet name." Kinkajou suddenly said "Hey, what are you two talking about, is it the secret, can I know!" Winter glared at Qibli and said "What does she mean by 'the secret', what did she hear?" Qibli looked at Moon and she nodded.
"Winter, Moon found out our secret because she can read minds and see the future." Winter took a moment to process this. Winter then said "You can read mind and see the future!" Moon jumped back and said "Y- yeah." Winter turned a even darker blue.
Moon then said "Don't worry, I haven't told anyone about your secrets. And anyway we found out that these stones can prevent mind reading." Winter quickly grabbed one and said "Stay out of my mind." Winter then said "I have to go get the Icewings to help me rescue Hailstor-"
Qibli quickly interjected and said "We should go after Icicle, she's obviously going after Glory if she is working for Scarlet." Winter looked at Qibli and said "Fine, but I'm going alone." Qibli then said "Winter, we're going, if you don't let us I'll tell Kinkajou our 'secret'."
Winter glared at Qibli and said "Fine, but try not to get killed." Kinkajou then said "Can I please know the secret, it's killing me!" Qibli smiled and said "Sorry but can't, Winter would be mad if I did." Qibli quickly flew off towards the rainforest with Winter and the Jade winglet, minus Turtle.
(Time skip, POV Winter)
Winter was now before the Rainwing Queen, Queen Glory, "Queen Glory I would like to help search for my sister." Glory quickly replied "Sorry but I can't risk you or Qibli being killed, it could cause a war between Icewings and rainwings."
Kinkajou suddenly said "Glory why would the Icewings care about Qibli?" Glory quickly said "Oh right I nearly forgot, everyone leave, I would like to speak to Winter and Qibli, alone." Deathbringer then said "But Glory what if someone attacks?" Glory rolled her eyes and said "I'll be fine, just wait until I'm done."
All the dragons left as Glory began, "So I've heard about your marriage and your desire to keep it secret so I thought I should tell you that the Icewings are angry and so are the Sandwings, after hearing what happened to Qibli, so try and stay safe, War between Icewings and Sandwings is the least of your problems."
