I'm Not the Only One (A$AP version)

My room turned out to be larger than the one I had back home.

It was huge!

The door opened up to a high-ceilinged lounge with a bed raised on a platform.

The bed was easily king-sized.

To my right, there was a desk against the wall, complete with writing supplies and multiple outlets.

Hell, there was even a coffee machine. The expensive kind.

I dropped my luggage on the bed and moved farther into the room.

It was dressed in a neutral cream colour with complementing curtains and a soft carpeted floor.

Removing my shoes by the hardwood atop the small steps leading up to my door, I moved through the room and pushed open the curtains only to gasp at the sight it provided.

It overlooked a small waterfall at the side of the property.

Tulips seemed to be strategically placed along the property along with the wild daisies that inhabited this area of Iceland.

Tearing my gaze from the grand windows, I moved onto my washing quarters.

The bathroom was complete with a tub and stand-alone shower. The sink and toilet were evergreen marble flaked with gold and looked high-tech.

The black-tinted glass matched the rest of the building.

I was living in luxury.

It felt almost wrong.

I was honestly under the impression that I would be staying in a little shack of a room with a roommate.

This felt like too much.

It was unnecessary.

Yet I still let myself fall into the comfort of the silk-white puffy duvet that lined my dark wood bed.

Good lord, it was comfy.

My eyes closed for a second before I heard a knock at my door.

"Hey it's me" Hamilton spoke before pushing open my unlocked doors.

I turned to him lazily while I lay cuddled up in my new sheets.

"Hey you," I said feeling mesmerized by comfort.

"Your room looks even nicer than mine," he said jokingly while looking around.

I rolled my eyes and sat up on the bed.

"This seems like a bit too much though doesn't it?" I asked.

He turned to me incredulously.

"Aubriella, I've learned not to ask questions or complain when things like this happen to me."

I giggled. "Hey I'm not complaining"

My hand ran back and forth against the thick sheets as I stared out at the view yet again.

"You should get out of those nasty wet airplane clothes girl," Hamilton said pointing at my wet sweatsuit.

I rolled my eyes at his sass. "You're right, I don't know what I was thinking"

I stood up and unzipped my suitcase.

My eyes sifted through the chaos I left my clothes in.

I reached for a satin slip and an open-knit sweater.

It felt like it matched the atmosphere of this place most.

"I'll make us some coffee Brie" he winked at me.
