Valduggery one shots and short stories

Rose part 6

*Skul POV*
I race towards Valkyrie, scared the wounds would be fatal, but she's lying there not breathing. "VALKYRIE!" I scream, putting her on her back. I feel for a pulse, there's a faint one. I softly pick up her unconscious form, cradling it in my arms. "Come on val, I love you! You can do this! I know you can..." I mumble, trying to re assure myself. Lord Vile takes over as we pass the hollow men. At seeing lord vile, they back away, not making a move. Once vile is outside, val safely cradled in his arms, you know what? I like you skulduggery. You can take over he states, calmly, disappearing. I don't look back as I sprint outside the castle, thanking vile in my head...
"That's when I came here..." I mumble, looking at Ghastlys sad eyes. I left out the lord vile bits, leaving chunks out of the story. "I don't understand... It doesn't make sense..." He mumbles, thinking in deep thought. "Yes it does." Anton states, striding into the room, the rest of the dead men hot on his heels. He throws his phone down in front of me, showing a video of Vile. I freeze. "Is... Is that lord Vile!??" I yell, acting inconspicuous. Dexter glares at me. "Don't act stupid! We know your him!" He snaps. I falter, sighing. "How...." I mumble, upset. Saracen steps forward. "I got a call from a mangled sanguine saying Lord Vile attacked him. And that lord vile was skulduggery pleasant. Upon hearing this, we didn't believe him. So we followed vile. We traced him to Serpines castle, watched as he killed dusk and rescued Valkyrie. This answered everything. I mean, why would he save Valkyrie? Why wouldn't he kill everybody, everything?" He mused, shaking his head. "So the bits you left out, were to do with lord vile?" Ghastly asked, blank faced. I nodded, " Trust me, I didn't do all those things. He did. But, he's not like that anymore! He helped me willingly. Saving Valkyries life, then giving me back!" I strained, hoping they would be convinced. "What do you mean 'gave you back' ?" Anton snapped, glaring daggers at me. I did a double take. "You guys didn't seriously think that I WILLINGLY killed all those people? Followed mevolent?! No way! Viles his own person! It just so happens, that his armour is connected to my body and he is basically in my head!" I cry out, offended. This time it's the Dead Men's turns to take a double take. "So... You didn't WANT to kill all those people...." Dexter asked, confused. "No way! I'm still skulduggery pleasant! Lord vile is lord vile..." I mumble. "In that case... I GUESS we can forgive you.... Cause it wasn't really you...." Ghastly mumbles, smiling softly. I tilt my head, showing in smiling. "Can I see val now?" I mutter, impatient. They nod, leading me to the medical bay. As soon as I walk in I hear a beautiful squeal. "SKULDUGGERY!!" Valkyrie screams, a beautiful smile covering her face. She's holding her arms out, waiting for a hug. I rush forward, enveloping her in a hug. "Val, are you okay?" I mumble, not letting go. I feel her grin, taking my hand. "I am now that your here..." She mumbles, smiling at me.
