MONSTER SONGFIC part 5

*Val POV*
I groggily opened my eyes, feelin cozy and warm. I gaze around the room, my eyes landing on the sleeping skeleton next to me. I grinned. He looked so cute, all cuddled up to me. I noticed that someone had put a blanket around us, keeping me warm. I blushed at the thought of anyone seeing us cuddling. "What are you blushing about?" Skul laughed, stroking my face. I smirked, pointing at his hand on my lower back. He froze, immediately whippin his hand away. "S-Sorry!" He stutters, embarresed. I laugh, holding his hand. "It's ok." I grin, resting my head against his ribcage. "Your sounding much better!" I smile, happy he's recovering. "Yes. I feel much better actually! My strength is returning. " he sighs, squeezing my hand. "What's the matter?" I ask, sitting up, worried. "I.... Just don't like anyone seeing me.... Vulnerable...." He muttered, putting his head down." Skul...." I muttered, tilting his head up with my pointer. "We're your friends. I've wanted to say this for so long but... I love you. I love you with all my heart. I don't think any less of you. After all, you are only human. Mostly. I know Ghastly and Anton don't either. They fought with you in the war, watched what you went through. Your allowed to feel, Skul. No one thinks anything less of you!" I blush, holding his hand. He pauses, before slowly nodding. He softly grabs my face, pressing his teeth to my lips once again. "Valkyrie Cain, I love you too. I don't know if it's right, but I don't care. I love you." He states, hugging me closer. Tears of joy slip down my face, landing on the soft blanket. "I'm here for you, ok?" I mumble, interlocking our fingers. He rubs his thumb over the back of my hand, caressing me. I jump, hearing a knock on the door. Gabby, Ghastly and Anton are standing there, comforting smiles on their faces. "Morning!" Gabby chirps, Sutton down across from us. Ghastly and Anton follow, waving. "What time is it?" I blush, noticing that everyone's gaze is at our joined hands. "9:34am, we didn't want to wake you. Ghastly and Anton slept here the night." Gabby States, giving them grins. "Why'd you do that!?" Skulduggery asks, not rudely, but annoyed they stayed for him. "We were worried! Your our brother, brothers stick together" Anton states, straight faced. Ghastly can't help but grin, poking his tongue at Skul. Skul sighs, tilting his head. "If I had a tongue is be poking I back at you ghastly!" He whines, earning chuckles from us all. "And Anton, I am honoured" he states, Anton shrugs. "It's the truth!" She points out. Gabby coughs, giving skulduggery a smirk. "I don't mean to pry, but dad??" She wiggles her eyebrows, at him. He grunts, annoyed. "You defiantly meant to pry!" He pointed out, trying to play-punch her. She giggled, dodging it. "Come on! We're dying to know!" She whines , sitting back down. "We're?" I ask, suspicious. She blushes, slowly pointing to the door...
