Desperate Meausures

*Val POV*
We'd dropped that many hints, they still didn't get it! It was so frustrating! Me and Tanith had been dropping hints for months, and still got no reaction out of Ghastly and Skul.... So we're using desperate measures.
Desperate times calls for desperate measures.

We were currently in a meeting, The Dead men and Tanith, when I had an idea. I made sure Erskine was preoccupied talking about some sicko, before quietly pulling out my phone.

Val- I HAVE AN IDEA!!!

I prayed Tanith had her phone on silent, and grinned when it didn't go off. She quietly pulled it out of her pocket, grinning at me from across the table.

Tan- What is it?😂
Val- Were taking Ghastly and Skul to the lake tonight.💁🏻
Tan- What? Why? 😑😜
Val- Were going skinny dipping.😌😏

Tanith started laughing, falling off her chair. "What the fuck!?" She laughed, making Ravel stare at her annoyed. "Tanith! Really?!" He groaned, annoyed for her childish behaviour. She tried to hide her grin, as she got back onto her chair, receiving odd looks from everyone, except for Ghastly who just smiled at her, curiously.  She blushed, looking down, as Ravel rolled his eyes, continuing. After a good, inconspicuous five minutes, she pulled her phone back out.

Tan- Why omg wtf?!😂😂😂😅😅😖😖😑
Val- Where going to show them this time, due to the fact there to dumb to realise we like them!😈😇😑
Tan- .....
Tan- Fine, deal 😈😈x
Val- Good, we'll tell them after.

I put my phone away, winking at Tanith. She rolled her eyes, grinning, while pretending to yawn at Ravel. I heard Dexter cough, looking at me. I raised my eyebrow, as he tilted his head at Skul who was sitting need to him. I blushed, glaring at him. He laughed softly, as I laid my head on the table.

"Ghastly! Skul! Come here for a minute?" I asked sweetly, grabbing there arms and dragging them to the window after the meeting. They grumbled, but didn't pull away. "Me and Tanith are going to the lake tonight, younwanna come?" I asked, putting on my puppy dog eyes. Skul looked at Ghastly, shrugging. "I don't mind, I'm in" he grinned, (metaphorically) as Ghastly scratched the back of his neck, sighing. "I don't know...." He mumbled. "Come on! It would mean a lot to Tanith..." I grin, making him sag, sighing. "Fine, we'll be there at 9pm" he stated, hugging me and waving at Tanith, before leaving. I turned to Skul, blushing, at realising it was just the two of us. "We have a new case by the way!" He smiled, tilting his head. I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest. He squirmed,uncomfortable all of a sudden. "You alright?"I asked, curious. He nods, snapping back to reality. " I have to go.... I'll see you at 9:00?" He asks softly, turning away. "Sure..." I murmur, concerned. He tilts his head at me, before walking away.
