"You sure you don't want to sleep here? It's no trouble at all, Ez!", Claudia let me know. It was almost 3am, and after everything that I happened I was tired and just wanted to reach my bed. Dinner was amazing and even though at first it was awkward for me after the show I did by leaving, soon it became just a normal dinner night between friends. "Don't worry about it, Claudia. I'll be fine!", I told her making my way out the door, "Besides, I'll be home in no time. Traffic won't be so bad at this hour!". After saying my goodbyes, I started to make my way, once again, to my car. Billie wasn't at the door, so I couldn't say goodbye. For the last couple of minutes, she had been on the phone with Zoe, and I didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

Turning the engine on, I start to get out of Claudia's driveway. But before I could get very far, Billie jumped in front of my car.

"Are you crazy?", I whispered-yelled out the window, making sure that I didn't disturb the neighbours, "What are you doing? Trying to get yourself killed?".

"You're leaving!", she said.

"Yes. It's late Billie.", I answered, while watching her making her way towards my window.

"Without saying goodbye?!", she leaned her head on her arms, looking at me with a pout on her full lips while narrowing her eyes.

"You were on the phone with Zoe...I didn't want to interrupt!".

"Well, I was thinking that - ", she paused for a while, almost like she was trying to gain the strength to speak whatever was on her mind.

"Yes....", I encouraged her.

"Can I go with you?", seeing the surprise look on my face she quickly added, "It's okay if you don't want me to but... I was thinking that maybe we could just talk about us and ...". Before she could keep rambling, I asked her, "Do you need a ride?".

"Let me just get my stuff.", she told me quickly making her way around my car, towards the house, "Don't go anywhere!", she added, making sure that I would actually wait for her. I couldn't help but laugh seeing her run like a madwoman towards the house and in a few seconds run back towards my car. Once she was in the passenger's seat and threw her things into the backseat, I started to drive.

Out of the conner of my eye, I could see her looking at me.

"You should take a picture, it lasts longer", I jokingly said to her. Looking towards the road to make sure it was okay for me to go straight through, I hear her whisper, "You don't mind?!".

Looking back at her, I see that she was being serious. Smiling to myself, and once again trying to keep my eyes on the road, I told her that I didn't mind. So, she took out her phone and one photo turned into more – she even recorded a video of me, simply driving. She thought it was 'sexy'.

Once we reached my street, I saw how my parents decided to leave their car out of the garage, probably because it was already late and didn't have the patience to do so. But, because they were home and seeing that it was already a little after 3am, they would probably be asleep by now.

"We need to be quiet!", I let Billie know. Her head quickly turned towards me, and laughing she asked, "Why? Are you a screamer?".

Now it was my turn to laugh at her dirty mind, "Get your mind out of the gutter, Billie. I meant quiet as in, making as little noise as possible entering the house...my parents are, most likely, sleeping by now!".

Letting out an 'Oh', I could see, even in the poorly lit car, how her cheeks were rosy, and her eyes were trying to avoid mine. Parking the car on the driveway, leaving space so my parents could reverse if they needed to go somewhere, I turn the engine off, lean towards her, and whisper in her ear, "But, I'm pretty sure I know you would be the one screaming!". Grabbing my purse, I get out of the car, and start making my way through the driveway, leaving her in the car completely taken back by me. I hear the door open and close behind me once I reach my front door. Looking back, I see Billie making her way, slowly, towards me and so, I lock my car from a distance.
