"Oh boy! It's been so long since I've played this!" Lucas squealed as his cloud approached a floating island. Kamek sighed in relief. They had been flying for at least ten minutes, and he had grown restless.

"Please, let's just get this done with."

"Eager to start, are we?" Lucas questioned, smiling brightly. And with a clap of his hands, everyone's clouds disappeared, dropping them onto the island. He giggled as they got up, obviously hurt by the fall.

Once Mario stood up, he immediately noticed that the island was an empty square, with nothing but clouds above them.

"Wait, there's nothing here..." Mario remarked. Luigi and Kamek turned Lucas, equally confused. 

"Then let's fix that!" Lucas responded cheerfully. He clapped his hands again, making three clouds descend. A yellow roulette box dropped from each one, each having a different image on them. They all floated above the trio, ready to be used.

"Okay, here's how it works.."
However, Lucas stopped before explaining. His cheerful smile grew wide and mischievous.

"...On second thought, you'll figure it out as you go."

Everyone was surprised to hear this. They glanced at each other, then back at Lucas, annoyed and confused.

"How's th-"

"Whoever gets me off my cloud first wins!" Lucas beamed as he floated to the edge of the island. Clapping his hands one final time, the images on the roulette boxes began to alternate. From one bullet bill, two bullet bills, three bullet bills, and a spiny egg.

Reaching a hand into his cloud, Lucas pulled out a small spiny egg, and threw it towards the players. Almost immediately, the egg turned into a normal spiny, and started walking around the island.

"Start!" Lucas yelled, throwing another small egg. This time, it hit Mario on the head. Luigi winced at how painful that looked.

"Get going!" The excited lakitu interrupted, throwing another next to him. Grabbing Mario's hand, Luigi ran to avoid any other eggs, Kamek doing the same. Lucas threw more, hoping to hit one of them again.

"WHERE IS HE EVEN GETTING THIS THINGS?!" Mario yelled, dodging another egg. Before Luigi could respond, a spiny rammed into him, causing him to fall. Lucas laughed as he got back up, groaning in pain.

In the midst of this, Kamek dodged each egg without much effort. He'd been around lakitus before, so he was used to most of their approaches.
Most of them.

Avoiding the spinies on the ground, he began to eye the roulette boxes. Quickly, he ran to these boxes, and punched at one of them. The images stopped alternating at the image of a single bullet bill. And in seconds, a bullet bill shot out of the box, hitting Lucas.
