Tris POV
One week laterThe gang has been helping with the trainees, and Kat and Tobias have been helping me develop a plan to take take Marcus down. Its nearly midnight and I can't sleep. I'm looking out the small window in Tobias and I's apartment. He's still in the control room with Amar.
I start to think about this battle. Marcus's army is probably evolving. We are struggling to train the small group of teens we have now. I know that we can't win this fight, and so does everybody else. But we have to try.
Just then, as I am looking into the darkness that consumes the city and surrounds dauntless, I see a figure marching towards us. As it gets closer, more figures appear behind it. And more, and more. A whole army of soldiers.
I gasp and all I can think about is Marcus. They found us, and now they are here to take us down. This is his army here to infiltrate ours. (Don't know if I used that word right to be CANDOR with you.)
I climb the stairs to the entryway. I don't know what I intend to do. I have no weaponry of any kind, no way to take them down, no way to defend myself, which I know Tobias wouldn't approve of. I know I can't just demand that they leave, I would get shot on the spot. Maybe I just intend to reason with Marcus, or trick him again, like I did last time. I don't know, I just climb and when I open the door, for the first time in a long time I feel relief.
I see George. George! George, who helped me in the Bureau. George, with a whole crowd of soldiers armed and ready. George, here to help and save us from a battle that was once impossible to win. It still is, but now it is impossible for Marcus to win. I smile to myself.
I run and hug George. "We thought you might need some more soldiers to train, and maybe when that's done we could go win a fight or something. I don't know." He says that last part sarcastically.
"Thanks, George."

I walk the meeting room with Tobias. He, like me, is relived. I think about the past few weeks we spent here training our new 'initiates'. I knew that, when we started training for this war, we might not have won. I knew the lot of us might have died. But, for reasons unknown to me, I was ready to die with them. I was ready. I was ready to die with them. With the trainees-people I just met. With my friends-who I hold near and dear to my heart. With Tobias-the love of my life.
But now-now we know we at least have a shot. We can win this fight. We won't need to die for one another or with each other because we are finally.... Safe. That word seems appropriate to use right now, though I'll never know for sure if we will be.
We walk in, and I see that everyone is already there. They stare at us. They are here to hear our plan. But ultimately, Tobias is the Dauntless leader and it's his call on what we do, not mine. I take a seat and Tobias walks then stands at the head of the table.
"Hey, everyone. As you know, we are about to go into war. After this, it's all over. We can win and bring this world into a new age if peace and kindness. I know that. I might not have been there for long, but I was there long enough to steal this." He pulls out a blueprint of Marcus's hideout. (Before anyone says anything, there is obviously no location on it! I barely loose my temper, but seriously, I will if you say anything about it!)
"The entrance is here. Not far from there is a control room, right here. I will take a small group to shut down all the locks and alarms and everything like that while everyone waits outside. Once we have successfully shut everything in the facility down, we will give a signal for the rest of you to come in. We'll split up into four groups, one for each floor. We'll cover more ground that way." As he talks he gestures to several different places.
"Several of you will help any captives that may be held there. The rest if you will be searching for Marcus. Take down any guards you see on your way, and be ready because there will be a lot. You will get further instructions later based on what group you will be in. Any questions?"
They all stay silent, which I thought was foreign to the Dauntless. "Good. Dismissed."
With that, everyone leaves and goes their separate ways while Tobias and I head to our apartment.

Yay! It's been too long! I'm so sorry to keep you guys waiting! I love you guys so much! You are the best!Okay, so before the send off, a few things. I'm looking for a new cover, so I thought I would have a contest for everyone. If I get one I really like, I will use it and you will get a character of your own in my next story. If you would like to enter the contest, message me and I will give you my contact information so you can give me your entry.
Next, I apologize for the late update. My technology is suckish. This story will be over in about twenty chapters or less. But, I will be making more stories, and possibly a sequel to this one.
That's pretty much it. So till next time, Stay Strong, Become Dauntless, Be Brave. <4!!!!
