"Hey, do you want to come with me to do some Christmas shopping?" Mona asked me
"What day is it today?" I sked.
"It's December 23rd, why do you ask?" Mona replied.
"Wow, it's already December? It still feels like November," I said, surprised.
"Right? Time flies! do you want to go shopping with me or not?" Mona asked again. I looked over at Hyein, who was still asleep, then turned back to Mona.
"Yeah, okay," I said, nodding my head. I got up from the floor and added,
"But first, I need to take a shower." I left Mona with Hyein in the living room and headed to the bathroom.
After showering, I went to my room to find an outfit. Once I found something cute to wear, I put on my shoes, grabbed my purse, and left for Hyein's room to get her stroller, car seat, and coat since it was cold outside. When I arrived in the living room where Mona and Hyein were, I said,
"Okay, help me put her coat on." We moved her slightly so that she wouldn't wake up from her sleep. After we found a way to put her coat on, I put her in her car seat and covered her with a blanket.
"Okay, all done," I said, standing up.
"Okay then, let's go," Mona said, holding the car seat where Hyein was sleeping.
"Wait, give me a second. I need to get my jacket and Hyein's changing bag," I said, walking into my room to grab the things I needed. I walked out again with my jacket and Hyein's changing bag.
"Okay, let's go,"I said, When we arrived at Mona's car, she said,
"Put your seat belt on," and she started driving.
"So what are we getting?" I asked Mona as we drove off.
"Mmm, I haven't gotten a Christmas tree yet, and I need more Christmas decorations," Mona said.
"Oh, okay," I replied, looking over at the back to check on Hyein sitting in her car seat.
"I also need to get more presents" she added
"Okay" I said nodding my head.
When we finally arrived at the mall, Mona helped me put Hyein in her stroller without waking her up. I tried to walk with the stroller, but it was difficult since it was my first time using one. Mona did it for me, and we walked to a bunch of shops, but it seemed like Mona didn't like any decorations.
"Come on, Mona, just choose something you like," I said annoyed.
"Yeah, wait, what about this one?" she said, picking up a pack of gold and silver ornaments and showing me.
"Yeah, they are pretty," I said, nodding my head.
"Okay, I'll get them," she said, picking up more packs of ornaments and walking to the cashier to pay. After paying, we left that shop and went to the tree shop to get some Christmas trees.
"Ooh, this is pretty and big," Mona said, looking at a tall green tree.
"It is," I said.
"OMG, look at that one there!" she said, walking over to another tree.
"But I thought you liked this one," I said, confused.
"Nah, I think this one is prettier,"she said, touching the tree. I sighed and walked over to her.
"Are you going to get this one or not?"I asked, just in case she changed her mind.
"Mmm," she mumbled while looking around the shop to see more trees.
"Yeah, I'll just get this one," she said.
Mona paid for the tree, Marshall then come later to pick it up. We then walked to a kids shop where Mona was looking for presents for her children.
"Let's go upstairs; there are a lot of toys and clothes," Mona said as we walked towards an elevator. When we got upstairs, Mona and I walked to the toy section.
"Should I get this doll for Sofia, or this one?" Mona asked, holding two dolls in her hands.
"I think this one," I said, pointing at the doll in her right hand.
"Okay," she said, putting it in the basket. I then looked around for a Christmas present for Hyein but got interrupted by Mona showing me a pack of toy cars.
"Should I get these for Jayden and Brendon?" she asked.
"Yeah, they're cool," I said, smiling at the toys.
"Okay, I'm going to get one more, I'll come back," Mona said, leaving me with Hyein in the stroller. I then checked Hyein and noticed that she had woken up.
"Oh, baby, you're awake," I said, caressing her cheeks. Then, Mona came back.
"Okay, let's go pay," Mona said, walking away with the stroller. I followed her.
After getting the kids their presents, we went to Zura to get Marshall a gift. We went inside the store and went up the elevator to the men's section. Mona ran her hands through a bunch of shirts that were still hanging.
"What do you think of this one?" she asked, showing me a white shirt with artwork on it.
"Yeah, I think it's good for Marshall since he has big biceps," I said.
"Yeah, you're right. I'll get this," she said, then looked for more clothes. I then browsed the section and found a shirt that caught my eye.
'This would look great on Wooyoung' I thought to myself, and added it to the basket.
"Are we done?" I asked Mona.
"Yeah, let's pay and grab something to eat," she replied.
After paying, we went to a cafe and sat down. Mona looked through the menu.
"I'm going to get a croissant and coffee," she said.
"What about you?" she asked me. I was about to answer when Hyein started crying, so I took her out of the stroller and held her in my arms but she just kept on crying.
"I think she's hungry," Mona said.
"Really, right now?" I asked, looking around at the crowded room.
"Here, use this to cover up," Mona said, handing me Hyein's blanket.
"Okay," I said, covering my chest and started breastfeed Hyein.
"Okay, what are you going to get?" Mona asked me again.
"I'll just get the same as you, but not coffee, an iced americano," I said, trying to adjust my posture.
"Okay," Mona said, getting up from her seat to order, leaving me to breastfeed Hyein. Then Mona returned with our meal, we then started to eat
"So, what you doing tomorrow" Mona asks
"I don't know" I said taking a bite of my croissant
"Okay, cool" she said.
