It had already been four months since my last visit, and now that I'm 14 weeks pregnant, today is the day I'm going to find out the gender of my baby.

As I walked through the hospital with Mona by my side, I felt both nervous and excited to finally know. Once we arrived, Mona helped me register at the front desk. The admissions coordinator told us to go to room 119 where Mrs. Park was waiting for us. Mona knocked on the door and we heard Mrs. Park's voice say,

"Come in."

We entered the room and greeted her. She then instructed me to lay down on the hospital bed and proceeded to do the normal routine check-up she had done before.

"Okay, now I'm going to check the baby's gender" she said moving the ultrasound probe around my belly for about a minute

"Okay, are you ready to know"? She asked making my stomach tingle in nervousness and excitement

"Yes, I'm ready" I said taking a deep breather before hearing what she got to say

"Congratulations, it a girl" she said as my eyes widened in shock. I then look at Mona and start to cry in joy, mona then walks up to me and hugs me

"Congratulations Sis" she said
As tears streamed down my face, I whispered to myself, 'It's a girl, a girl.' I closed my eyes and wished San was here to experience this joy with me.

Mrs. Park said, "I'll leave you two for some alone time," and left the room, leaving me with Mona. "Hey, no matter what, I'll stay by your side and help you raise this child," she said, hugging me even more tightly. Her words and embrace were comforting, and I felt grateful for her support.

"Thank you," I said, my voice breaking with emotion. Mona pulled away and looked at me with a smile.

"Now, stop crying and let's go shopping for clothes for the baby. We've got so many cute outfits to choose from!" Her enthusiasm was contagious, and I felt a small smile form on my face despite my tears. "Yeah, okay," I said, now smiling.

It had been six months since Wooyoung had last come over, and now I'm 24 weeks pregnant. With only three months left until my baby arrive, I started to feel more and more nervous.

I had set up a room for my baby, complete with toys and a rocking chair for whenever I needed to put her to sleep. I had also bought her a wardrobe and a mini table for when she gets older to play tea with. She has her own crib, but I always wanted her to feel welcome to sleep with me and her father whenever he come's back. As I looked around the room, a sudden pain shot through my stomach, making me double over. I fumbled for my phone and dialed Mona's number, but it went straight to voicemail. I tried calling her several more times, but she didn't answer. In desperation, I dialed Wooyoung's number.

"Hello?" he answered.

"Wooyoung, I'm in a lot of pain. Can you take me to the hospital?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"Are you in labor?"he asked, sounding panicked.

"No, my water hasn't broken yet, and I'm three months to go" I replied, still in pain.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"I'm at home," I said, groaning.
