"Hi, I'm sorry I'm late, I was cut up with work," he said as I let him in.

"Oh, don't worry about it. Hyein's asleep," I whispered slightly.

"Oh, okay," he said.

"Oh, by the way, I brought some of my own clothes so that I can't keep borrowing yours," he said, facing me. I then replied,

"Okay. Then you should go take a shower. I'll wait for you, and then we can have dinner."

He simply smiled and headed to the shower.
After San took a shower, we both ate dinner. After that, we both sat down on the couch to take a moment to relax.

"How's work?" I asked him.

"It's going okay, but I think I'll be coming home late, so don't wait for me," he said with a tired expression on his face which made me feel bad because I don't work, and most of the time I don't feel tired or stressed. It's hard to see him like that. He gives all his everything at work and at home with Hyein.

"I like that tattoo," I said, looking at the tattoo that's on his kneecap.

"What does it say?" I asked him.

"Amicus ad aras, which stands for friends until death," San said.

"Wooyoung have the same tattoo as me," San also added.

"So you guys have matching tattoos?" I asked.

"Yeah, we do," San said, rubbing his kneecap. Wow, they are really close friends that they have matching tattoos, I thought to myself.

"Do you have any tattoos that I don't know of?" San asked.

"Well, I have this small star on my ankle. I don't know if you've seen it before, but there it is," I said, showing him the black star on my ankle.

"That's cute," he said, looking at the small star.

"Also, I got other tattoos here beside my ear," I said, trying to show him the three butterflies beside my ear. He gets closer as I bend my ear showing him the butterflies

"Why are there three butterflies and not one?" he asked, still looking at the intricate design on my ear.

The butterflies were delicate and beautiful, each one slightly different from the others.

"Well," I began,

"it represents me, Mona, and Mum."

I pointed to the largest butterfly, "The big one is my mother, and the middle one is Mona. The small one is me."

He looked surprised, "You never talked about your parents, where are they?" he asked, still looking at the tattoo. I didn't say anything, and which he noticed there was something wrong.

"What's wrong?" he asked, now looking at me.

"It's nothing," I said, feeling a knot form in my stomach.

"Dominique, just tell me. I know there's something wrong," he said, his tone now serious and concerned. I hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath.
