The next morning, I woke up and got out of bed, feeling a sense of determination wash over me. I walked over to Hyein's room and saw her sleeping peacefully in her bed. I smiled, knowing that she was the light in my life that kept me going.

After getting Hyein dressed in her blue denim shorts and a white top, we headed out to the hospital. The sun was shining, and the breeze was cool.

"Mummy, where are we going?" Hyein asked, her voice filled with wonder.

"We're going to the hospital to see your dad," I replied, gently holding her hand as we walked to the elevator. I could feel the warmth of her tiny hand in mine, and it made me feel a sense of comfort.

"What's wrong with daddy?" Hyein asked, her voice filled with concern.

"Daddy is sick, so he's in the hospital to get better," I explained to her in a calm voice. I could see the sadness in her eyes, and it made me feel a sense of empathy.

we walked out of the elevator door and made our way to the side of the building.

San POV:
I pressed one of the bed control buttons, and I could hear the whirring sound of the motor as the upper head of the bed lifted up, making my posture sit. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I felt my body sink into the soft mattress. I laid back my head on the bed's upper head and looked up at the ceiling, letting out a deep sigh.

Suddenly, I heard a gentle knock on the door, and I looked towards it. That must be Jaemoon, I thought to myself. I could hear the sound of the door creaking open, and I saw Hyein's little face peeking around the door. She had a big smile on her face, and I could see that she was excited to see me.

"Come in," I said, watching as the door opened slowly. I could see Dominique walking in behind Hyein, and she closed the door behind her.

"Daddy!" Hyein exclaimed, running towards the bed with a big smile on her face. I could feel my heart swell with love for her.

"Daddy, are you feeling okay?" Hyein asked, looking at me with her big, beautiful doe eyes filled with concern. I could see the worry etched on her face.

I hesitated for a moment, trying to remember what I was supposed to say. Suddenly, I remembered that I was supposed to pretend that I had amnesia, so I just looked at her with a confused expression on my face. I could see the confusion on Hyein's face, and I knew that I needed to keep up the act for her sake.

Dominique POV:
I walked closer to the bed, my heart pounding in my chest as I watched San's face display a mix of emotions. His eyes were wide and uncomprehending, and I could see the confusion etched on his face. I took a deep breath and tried to remain calm, even though my heart was racing.

"How are you feeling?" I asked him, my voice soft and soothing. I watched as he looked at me with a frown of confusion, but he didn't say anything. Hyein got up on the bed and snuggled with San, but he looked just as confused as before.

"Do you remember me?" I asked him, my voice shaking slightly. He shook his head, and I could see the fear in his eyes. My heart broke for him, and I knew that I needed to do everything I could to help him remember.

"I'm Dominique, your girlfriend," I said, trying to sound as calm and reassuring as possible. "And this is your daughter, Hyein," I added, gesturing towards Hyein. I could see the confusion and fear in San's eyes, and it broke my heart.

"Don't worry, San," I said, taking his hand in mine. "I'll help you remember." I reached into my jean pocket and pulled out my phone, scrolling through my photo gallery. I selected a picture and showed it to him, a smile spreading across my face.
