Eugene didn't withdraw and some students found it confusing. After all, it was announced that Eugene was pulled out but in the next second, he is eligible to join the selection again. This made some examinees who thought that team 4 is done for swallowed their disappointment.
They are now standing before a dungeon gate.
The second round is treasure hunting. They must find the treasure hidden while looking for clues to get out of the dungeon. Knowing that this dungeon is safe and is raided, Eugene knew that Timber would be safe unless they will be attacked by other teams to steal the clues they would get. That's the only problem they needed to address.
It's also fortunate that Timber's step-brother didn't show himself.
Heaven knows how worried he is to the point he couldn't even sleep properly.
Thankfully the exam was resumed after one day of rest and everyone seems to be physically fit now. Treasure Hunting seems easy but the difficulty is looming especially when the examiner announces the rules of the game. Eugene can see it, everyone started to look at their potential prey which added pressure to some examinees.
"What to do...the exam looks easy on the surface but..."
Zaoran patted Reign's shoulder: "Don't worry, we can do this."
Eugene glance at Timber who started to nibble some fruits and sigh: "Don't eat too much, the fruits will chase you in your dream again. I can't chase it away, what to do?"
Timber froze and then purse his lips.
"T-Then I won't eat."
After the announcement the gate opened and everyone enter but was teleported to a different part of the dungeon. Team 4 landed in the north which is the darkest place in the dungeon so everyone immediately shout to perceive their teammates' existence.
Fortunately, upon entering Eugene held Timber so both sticks to each other.
"Everyone, the enemy in this dungeon are other teams, no matter what you should not trust anyone who will come to you. We will focus on finding clues and getting the treasure, without my command no one is allowed to make a move that could endanger the team."
"Commander, how to start? The surrounding is dark."
"That's right, we don't have dualists like team 1 that can use magic to create light, just why the hell we are the one who was thrown here?"
Eugene who was punished: "..."
Because he offended the academic officers, it will be no wonder his team will always be at the edge. He knew it, nothing goes right when you do wrong things. Anyways he must think of a way how to get out of the north side. This was supposed to be the team 1's starting place but now they're the one in this situation. Thinking about Kaizer who is probably starting to move, Eugene couldn't help but dislike it. What a mess.

He must think of a way to get out of the North.
Closing his eyes, Timber's face flashes in Eugene's mind which made Eugene startled when he suddenly remembers that Timber's senses in the dark are sharp and Timber can easily tell the way by listening to the surrounding.
"That's it." Eugene tighten his grip on Timber's hand and said "Timber, can you close your eyes and focus on the surrounding then tell us what you're hearing?"
"Huh?"
Timber didn't know why but he agreed: "Alright."
Eugene guided Timber on what to do and Timber who suddenly realized Eugene's meaning became excited. Look! He is a used for Eugene now! His hearing can actually reach the range he never imagines! If it weren't for Eugene he wouldn't know about this talent at all!
