(CW: Death mentioned, self harm mentioned)

Eclipse had used their star to help create Luminix ver own room, with patterns, colours, decor, and the bedding. Luminix had picked out the colour palette of white and beige. The walls weren't heavily decorated, but Luminix did have some painting that had floral designs on them.

Small book shelves with a couple of genres of books and little fake plants. The carpet was a simple fluffy grey, and the bedding was an off-white.

Eclipse hummed with a small smile and turned towards Luminix, who had sat down of ver bed and a distant look on ver face. Eclipse's expression turned into a concerned one and sat down next to Luminix.

"Hey... you alright?" Eclipse asked. "You look... distant there." Eclipse leaned forward to look at Luminix's face.

Luminix thought for a moment and then replied. "I don't know." Luminix whispered.

Eclipse placed a gentle hand on top of Luminix's and caressed it. Luminix looked at the hand placed on top of vers and held it gently. Luminix exhaled deeply and looked at Eclipse, expression unreadable. "When will it get better?" Luminix asked, catching Eclipse off guard.

"Excuse me?" Eclipse titled their head.

Luminix let out a shaky breath. Something ve never thought ver did again. "The pain... Orbit... they're not coming back... are they?" Luminix turned fully towards Eclipse, rays retracing a bit.

Eclipse held both of Luminix's top hands. "Luminix, what's wrong?" Eclipse asked.

Luminix now had tears falling down ver face, full-on crying and shaking, and lunged verself at Eclipse and hugged him. Eclipse was caught off guard but soon wrapped his arms around Luminix. He let Luminix cry into his chest, arms tight around his body and shaking against him. Eclipse whispered soft, comforting words to Luminix, rocking ver gently. A few minutes passed by, and the two of them slowly pulled apart, though their arms were still linked together.

"Luminix, please tell me." Eclipse said, rubbing the other's arms.

"Orbit... my Lunar. I thought I could pretend to be fine. Like, how I was acting around Orbit all this time, even though I believed he knew about my acting. The wither storm broke free in full form. Orbit managed to kill it... but at what cost? They saved our dimension. He saved me. He's gone... he's fucking gone!" Luminix broke down, folding in on verself, letting Eclipse hold ver.

"His star remained and attached to me. The world started to crumble and break. I used the star to flee and ended up here. I thought I could pretend to be fine... I was wrong... I punished myself. I punished myself so I could feel better... I don't. I don't know how." Luminix rambled, wiping the tears away frantically.

Eclipse hugged Luminix again, ver arms limped and face buried in Eclipse's chest. Eclipse listened and was shocked to hear what Luminix had to go through and witness. The feeling of loneliness and grief had washed over the poor animationic to the point where ve felt the need to hurt verself due to Orbit's death. Eclipse rubbed the back of Luminix's head and back and whispered comforting and sweet words towards the crying animationic. When minutes passed, Luminix looked up at Eclipse, tears staining ver face.

"Tell me... is it going to get better? Am I going to get better? Be honest." Luminix begged.

Eclipse sighed and caressed the side of Luminix's faceplate. "It'll take some time, but I can assure you everything will get better. I'll make sure you feel better. Grief has no end time... but I'll be here for you. I'm sure the others will, too." Eclipse said.

Luminix laid ver head back on Eclipse and held onto Eclipse's top forearms, eyes shut tightly. "Thank you." Luminix said, voice strained, trying not to cry again.

Eclipse gave a small smile. "Anytime Luminix... Anytime." Eclipse buried their face in Luminix's rays.

The two of them sat on the bed for what seemed like forever and pulled apart, Luminix wiping apart ver tears. Eclipse had a shy smile on his face and placed a hand on vers. "You wanna do anything?" Eclipse asked.

Luminix thought for a second and then nodded, a small smile creeping on ver face. The two stood up and walked out and headed to the family room; talking and playing video games and making one another laugh. Eclipse made sure Luminix felt safe, sound, and welcomed.

"Doing alright, Lumi?" Eclipse turned his head towards the other.

Luminix blushed lightly at the nickname and nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, I am... Thanks." Luminix smiled, earning one back from Eclipse.
