Eclipse and Solar Flare were on the bed, kissing up a storm with Solar Flare on top of Eclipse. Giggles and the sound of lips hitting each other's lips and faceplate filled the room. It felt wonderful to have Solar Flare back in their presence, and as for Flare, it felt wonderful to have Eclipse in their arms.

While kissing, Flare's arms reached up the back of Eclipse's shirt, feeling the other shiver underneath them. Flare's hands ran through Eclipse's back and slid one in the front, sliding their hand over Eclipse's stomach and up to his chest. Eclipse moaned slightly and pulled Flare in closer. While running their hand over Eclipse's chest, Flare felt a rough texture over their lover's chest and hummed, slowly pulling away from the kiss.

"Something wrong?" Eclipse asked.

"You tell me. Your chest feels rough. Feels like there's cracks on it." Solar Flare said, rubbing their fingers over Eclipse's chest.

Eclipse pressed his lips into a thin line and let out a small "huh" and hummed. "Well then..." Eclipse muttered.

Solar Flare tugged the bottom of Eclipse's shirt, letting them know that they wanted it off to take a look.

"Fine. Take it off." Eclipse said.

"I get to do everything, huh?" Flare teased, giggles coming from both parties as Flare took Eclipse's shirt off. Once they did, they froze. They stared in shock before caressing Eclipse's body.

"Hun... everything alright?" Eclipse asked, looking down at his own body and stared.

The middle of Eclipse's chest had a huge black spot that spread upwards into spider web like cracks. The cracks spread up to the left side of Eclipse's shoulder and part of his forearm. The cracks also made their ways up to his neck; leaving a small black spot right dead center. The spot in the middle of his chest seemed to be deep into his casing; almost caving in and looking like a small crater.

Flare kept caressing Eclipse chest and finally made eye contact with them. "Baby... what the hell happened?" Flare asked, holding onto Eclipse's sides.

"I don't know. I didn't cause any self injuries." Eclipse replied.

"Hun, this doesn't just happen." Flare said.

"I'm aware of that. The only thing that could cause such an injury is...." Eclipse paused, biting their finger and eyes widening.

Oh no.

Eclipse placed a hand on his chest, feeling another being placed on top of his. Eclipse glanced up at Flare, who was seriously starting to panic. The fact that Eclipse wasn't answering Flare's question only made Flare panic more. Eclipse held Flare's hand and kissed it, and sighed.

"I know what caused this. And, it's my fault." Eclipse murmured.

Flare lowered themselves to Eclipse's face, quiet shaky breaths on his face. "Please... don't leave me out." Flare begged.

Eclipse placed their hands on their side of Flare's face and kissed their forehead. "The star. It embedded itself in my chest as a precaution and a safety measure, as well as the only place it could be encased. I... overexerted it, and myself and this... this is my punishment." Eclipse explained. "I'm sorry, love. What with building our own realm, the house, the room, and bringing you here... I didn't think of it. I didn't even feel the damages! I promise!" Eclipse explained, watching as Flare lowered their head and tears falling from their eyes.

"I'm sorry. You know I never do this on purpose. I promise you that. I can get help. I-I can ask one of the others to-" Eclipse was cut off by Flare tackling them in a hug. Flare cries were muffled by both Eclipse's shoulder and the pillow.

Eclipse wrapped his arms around Flare and rubbed their rays. "I'm sorry, baby. I didn't know. I promise that I'll get it fixed." Eclipse said quietly.

Flare tighten the hug, trapping Eclipse in their grasp. "I believe you didn't know about this... I'm just... I'm just worried that you'll leave me. I don't wanna lose you... don't leave me... please." Flare begged, burying their face further in Eclipse's shoulder.

"You won't lose me. I won't allow that to happen. I'll... I'll ask one of the others to see what we can do. Or even if they have something that can help. Yeah?" Eclipse said, waiting for a response.

Flare nodded, pressing foreheads together, feeling their tears getting wiped away gently and earning a long and slow kiss. Their rays slowly retracting and inhaling slowly. Eclipse whispered sweet and soft nothings to Flare, assuring his lover that they'll find a way to heal him.

"Better... we better." Flare murmured, laying themselves back on Eclipse and felt their rays being petted.

"We will. I will." Eclipse whispered.
