Luminix had been conjuring up
small things to entertain verself and too say ve were going a little overboard would be an understatement.  Luminix had recently found the fluffy animal known as cats. Luminix got so attached that ve used ver star to conjuring up a few cat things. That "few" having been a lot and having so many exciting moments and swimming rapidly any time ve find more cat-like items.

The recent ones being a headband with cat ears and a belt with a faux cat tail attached at the back. Luminix looked at verself in the long mirror and shook their fists in gigginess. Giggling, ve hopped up and down and conjured up a cat pillow. Suddenly, there was a knock at Luminix's door and ve paused, slightly panicking at the thought of someone looking at the newly grown obsession.

"Y-yeah?" Luminix replied.

"Hey, Lumi. Can I come in?" Solaris's voice rang through.

Luminix started to slowly hyperventilate and felt ver anxiety rise up. Ver chest rose up and down quickly, and Luminix froze up. "U-uh... w-well..." Luminix stuttered.

"Lumi... are you ok?" Solaris asked.

Luminix didn't answer and just stood still, tears falling down ver face. Ve shook and watched as the door slowly opened and stumbled backwards on the floor and covered ver face, not wanting Solaris to see the tears flowing down on ver face. Luminix then felt verself being pulled into a comforting hug and soft whispers of gentle comforts. Luminix; on instinct; clinged onto Solaris and spewed out apologies.

"I'm sorry! I didn't want you to see me like this! I'm sorry! Please don't do anything!" Luminix spat in hysterics.

"Lumi. Lumi. It's alright. It's ok. I'm not gonna do anything." Solaris said in a calm manner. 

Luminix started to calm down a bit, but ver breathing was still laboured and looked up at Solaris, who had a concerned yet comforting look on his face. "Y-you're not weirded out by me?" Luminix stuttered.

"Of course not. Why would I?" Solaris titled his head.

Luminix slowly lowered ver arms and looked off into the distance before replying. "I... I'm not use to having someone who takes sudden interest in what I find. Ever since... ya know. I didn't know about the existence of felines, so I just..." Luminix paused, stuttering.

"So, you found out that cats exist. I don't mind, and I doubt the others are gonna throw a fit with you finding out that cats exist and conjuring up cat items that you find and like. Honestly, it's cute. Heh. Don't beat yourself up over something that doesn't hurt anyone." Solaris said, rubbing Luminix's arm up and down.

Luminix pouted and looked down and then back up at Solaris. "It's not weird?" Luminix asked shyly.

"No. It isn't. If it makes you happy, then by all means, enjoy it." Solaris said.

Luminix giggled in a shy manner and wiped away ver tears and sighed. "Thank you." Luminix hummed.

"Anytime. So, tell me... how did you find out about cats?" Solaris said, and the shift from shy to happy was an interesting take for Solaris, but smiled as Luminix ranted.

"Technology! While searching, a video popped up about a black and fluffy little thing, and it was a cat! I looked them up, and they're just so adorable! While searching, cat based products, like cat faced pillows, headbands, and so many other things! I had to conjure up these things! Cats are so cute, and they look fluffy!" Luminix ranted excitedly and wiggled as ve did.

Solaris chuckled and placed their hands on top of Luminix's, getting ver attention. "Why didn't you just conjure up your own cat? Ya just need all the things that the cat needs, I'm sure you searched that up as well." Solaris suggested, shrugging jokingly.

Luminix gasped and quickly pulled ver hands away and used ver powers, blinding Solaris for a voluntary moment before the light died out and laughed as he saw Luminix hugging ver own cat. It was a fluffy back cat that looked to be about six years old. Luminix's eyes had sparkles in ver eyes and a huge smile on ver face, teeth and all.

"Happy?" Solaris asked, petting the cat.

Luminix rapidly nodded, making Solaris hold ver head so as ve didn't get a head rush. Luminix's cat slipped out of ver arms and started to explore ver rooms. Luminix flapped ver arms, hands clenched into fists, and rays spun rapidly. Solaris chuckled and let ver head go.

"I'm gonna heavily assume that's a 'yes'. So, whatcha gonna name your cat?" Solaris asked, looking back at that cat and at Luminix.

Luminix hummed. "Domino." Luminix replied, puckering ver lips and grinned.

Solaris giggled and felt Domino rubbed up against them and pet him. "I like it. I'm glad you like him too." Solaris said, watching as Domino did a flop, and the two of them gave him pets.

"I love him!" Luminix said and then looked at Solaris with a slight blush and a nervous look. "Thanks, Sol. I... I appreciate it." Luminix let out an awkward cough.

Solaris placed a hand on Luminix's arm and gave a reassuring look. "No problem, Lumi. And, anytime. Don't be afraid to show your interests. I be glad to know about what you love. And, I'm sure the others would be happy to hear about them as well. Trust me..." Solaris then leaned and whispered. "We all have our little interests." Solaris joked.

Both laughed and played with Domino for the remainder of the day.
