Ever since Pulsar brought Paradox to life, the two of them hung out every single chance they got, and Pulsar started to slowly recognize their feelings towards Paradox. The slow burn that was slowly building up to something emotional and having to feel a good connection felt right in some many different ways for Pulsar. Though, they had to make sure they were right before they had to jump to conclusions.

While Paradox and Pulsar were hanging out in the family room, the duo heard frantic whispered and walking, making the duo turn to the source. The duo saw both Eclipse and Flare talking in hushed whispers, almost arguing in a way that seemed concerning. Pulsar hummed and turned to Paradox.

"Excuse me for a minute?" Pulsar asked.

"Go ahead. I don't know them that well." Paradox said. Pulsar chuckled and got up and walked up to Eclipse and Solar Flare.

"You two, ok?" Pulsar asked, startling the two of them.

Eclipse's eyes widened and took two swift steps towards Pulsar; seemingly hopeful and antsy; catching Pulsar off guard but the motions and the sudden eagerness.

"Pulsar, you're old, right?" Eclipse said bluntly.

"Ok, ow. That hurt. But, older than all of you, in a way." Pulsar replied.

"Sorry. But that means you had the star longer and know how to use it to its full extent, correct?" Eclipse asked.

"Yes, that's correct. Why?" Pulsar asked.

It was at this point that Pulsar noticed the blanket around Eclipse's body, being held up by one of his hands and up close to his chest. Pulsar took a minute to realize the situation and whispered.

"Oh. I see." Pulsar said and looked back at Paradox and back to Eclipse. "Ok, I'll help you, but I need to see the damages." Pulsar said. "You..." they said, pointing at Eclipse, their tone becoming stern. "Are coming with me. And you..." pointing at Flare, "are staying with Paradox. I don't need any freak outs from any side. I'll grab you and let you know what's happening. Got it?" Pulsar asked, crossing their arms.

The sudden sterness caught them off guard but nodded and did what they were told. Once Pulsar and Eclipse were in a room alone, Pulsar turned towards Eclipse; waiting for him to drop the blanket. Eclipse bit their lip and sigh, letting the blanket drop. Pulsar's eyes widened and walked closer, having the other stand up a bit straighter.

"God, Eclipse. This is..." they sighed. "If you asked me the definition of overexertion, I say it's this." Pulsar said, examining the injuries.

"I'm aware that it's caused by that. Just... can you help? Please? Flare was the one who noticed it and is extremely worried that they're gonna lose me because of this." Eclipse's voice started to rise in panic.

"Relax. You're lucky that Flare was able to notice it. To answer you, I can fix it. However, I'll let you know that after I'm done, you won't be able to use your star for an extended period of time. You will need to be careful if you have any other medical problems. If you do, come to me." Pulsad explained, straightening their posture.

Eclipse's rays retracted and exhaled.  "Ok. I... I understand. Just... I don't want Flare to worry and crash thejr systems." Eclipse said, his voice lowering.

Pulsar placed a hand on Eclipse's shoulder in a comforting manner. "Everything will be alright. We may be different; universal wise, but our coding is similar enough that I won't allow you and Flare to worry about each other to the extent of your systems crashing." Pulsar stared Eclipse, reassuring the animatronic.

Eclipse let a small smile appear on his face. "Thank you, Pulsar... thank you." Eclipse chuckled.

Pulsar gave a smile of their and took a few steps back, all four hands glowing a soft white. "Ready?" Pulsar asked.

Eclipse straightened his posture and nodded. Pulsar hummed and let the white engulf them, feeling their own star hum and whir from within their chest. Pulsar groaned, and their eyes snapped open, eyes being an off-white and the light swirled around Eclipse; lifting them a few feet in their and wrapped around their torso and chest. Eclipse groaned as they watched Pulsar, eyes squinting through the beam. Pulsar focused heavily on the injuries and using the power of their own star; lifting themselves off of the ground and cried out, beams of light bounced off like a prism and spread through the room.

Slowly, the light died out, Eclipse being gently dropped on the floor and let out a grunt, holding onto their head as it felt like a migraine washed over them. He then placed a hand on his chest, feeling the now smooth texture on his casing. Sure, the marks of the injury were their, but the roughness and growing cracks were no longer present. Eclipse chuckled, about to tell Pulsae, but was blinding to the light that surrounded them.

Once the light fully died out, it revealed that Pulsar was lying on the ground, eyes closed with staggered breaths coming from them. Eclipse gasped and crawled frantically over to Pulsar, pulling them in their lap. Pulsar moaned in pain and opened their eyes.

"Fuck... haven't done that... haven't done that in quite some time." they panted, letting out small bits of laughter.

"Shit, Pulsar... you alright?" Eclipse asked.

"Oh yeah. Positive. I'm good. Just takes a lot." Pulsar panted.

Eclipse sighed and kept Pulsar lying down as they tried to get back up. "No. You're staying laying down until you actually feel OK enough to at least sit up." Eclipse scolded.

Pulsar chuckled. "Ok, mom. I guess I deserve you... scolding me." Pulsar teased.

"Ha ha." Eclipse said sarcastically. "I'm only doing this because you exhausted yourself." Eclipse protested.

"I already said I haven't done such a thing in some time. Besides, I'll be fine. Besides, I don't think Solaris and/or Luminix could be able to do that. Even if they tried, it'll only do so much." Pulsar explained.

Eclipse paused, rays lowering and rubbed at Pulsar's arms. The two looked at the door as a knock erupted from their talk. "Yeah?" Eclipse answered.

"Everything alright?" Paradox's voice came through.

Both Pulsar and Eclipse glanced at each other, and Eclipse sighed. "If you're wanting to come in, just give us a second. We're fine." Eclipse replied, rays twitching as they heard the voices fade.

The two took some time to collect themselves and for Pulsar to conjure up a shirt for Eclipse. Once they got themselves good and ready, the two stepped out, Solar Flare instantly running up to Eclipse and capturing him in their arms. Eclipse hugged Flare, letting them know that everything's all good and that he was all good; Pulsar fixing him up.

Flare looked at Pulsar and thanked them. Pulsar gave a simple nod of acknowledgment. Eclipse kissed Flare's cheek and slowly pulled apart and turned to face Pulsar.

"Thanks... you managed to stop Flare from having a malfunction." Eclipse joked.

"Hey!" Flare blushed,  rays twitching as small bits of laughter filled the room.

"Don't mention it. Remember what I said, ok? The star will let you know anyway." Pulsar said.

Eclipse nodded, gasping as he was picked up by Flare and walking away. "We're leaving. Eclipse's getting punished for making me worry about him." Flare said.

"It ain't my fault! Help!" Eclipse protest.

Pulsar chuckled, feeling Paradox's hand on their shoulder and looked up at xem. Paradox had a small smile on xir face, getting Pulsar to blush slightly.

"What?" Pulsar questioned.

"Nothing. You're just so helpful." Paradox titled xir head in joy. Pulsar blushed darker and giggled.

"It's not much. Just something that I happen to be knowledgeable about." Pulsar shrugged.

"Still... you did good." Paradox hugged Pulsar.

Pulsar hugged back, a warm feeling coming over them. Pulsar wasn't sure if this warm feeling was a good thing or not, but it felt good.

Maybe Pulsar started to feel more and more connected towards Paradox. Maybe it was a good thing.
