Your POV
To be honest, I love fencing, and fencing loves me. But after last night, my back is aching like hell. I know I shouldn't let that woman ride me.
"Coach, coach, she tripped me!" I see Rowan fall down.
"It was a clear strike, Rowan" Vlad told him.
I come and help him stand up, he's a handsome boy but always quiet and doesn't have many friends.
"Seriously May? You are my only competitor in here and you just want to stand in the corner and let me play with this punch bag?" Bianca raises her brow at me.
"No thanks. Oh Wednesday, come! You look good in this! Wanna duel with Bianca?" I quickly push her forward.
"May!"
"Sorry Bibi, my back is killing me! No fencing today! You can fence with her tho!"
The new girl seems to be very eager to have the opportunity.
"This psychopath?"
"Self-appointed Queen Bee. Interesting thing about bees, pull out their stinger and they drop dead"
'Bianca getting roasted! Wish I have a phone with me to record this!'
"Nice dormmate, May" she glares at me.
"Are we doing this or not?"
And so they point their épée at each other as I stand beside Rowan and watch.
"Point to Wednesday" Vlad say when Wednesday got her épée in Bianca's chest.
Another round but Bianca got her opponent's head.
"The score is even"
"Impressive!" I clap my hands.
"For the final point, I would like to invoke a military challenge. No masks. No tips. Winners draw first blood. And you Alpha will duel with me if I win" she takes her mask off and glares at me dangerously.
'I give you the fucking book last night! Why do you look at me like you want to skin me now?'
"Short legs but big mouth. Let's see if you bleed black and white" Bianca throws her mask at me and I grab it mid-air.
They both launch themself at each other, their épée move incredibly fast, I move backward as they start to move closer to me. Wednesday hesitates and Bianca takes it, blood dripping down from Wednesday's forehead.
"Incredible, Bibi" I come and lower her épée, still pointed on Wednesday.
"How many times have I told you I hate that nickname?" she rolls her eyes.
"Come here Wednesday, let me take you to the hospital wing, they may have some bandages for you. You come too, Rowan!" I smile at both of them.
'The goth girl is shocking from losing'
Wednesday looks mad after she loses to Bianca, it looks like my best friend has a new rival. This reminds me of my first year, I and Bianca was the biggest rival ever, don't know how did we get so close together as we are now.
"Losing is the best way to succeed" I say as I take the bandage and help her with the wound.
"How can losing lead me to succeed and not become a loser like that?" she glares at Rowan.
"That's rude!" I comment.
She stands up and leaves without saying anything, I look at Rowan apologetically and bid him goodbye.
"Wednesday wait up!" I run after her.
Just get out of the room and I smell something weird like... like hand lotion. Maybe someone drops some. I ignore it and follow Wednesday out of the place, it rains outside a bit but luckily I got my folding compact umbrella with me because Marilyn insisted on it.
