Your POV

My parents came, I heard they broke into the operating room last night to heal me, the police almost arrested them.

"You dumbass! I didn't give birth to you just so you could risk your life like that! If Kelly hadn't been there you could have died, you... you... you dumb wolf!" My mom scolded.
"I'm sorry mom, I won't do it again!" I held her hand to calm her down.

"Never do something like this ever again!" she hisses.

"Alright my dear, let's go get some rest, you didn't sleep last night." my father says as he enters the room "May, your friends are outside, do you want to see them?"

"Yes, tell them to come in dad. You should rest mom, please get some sleep."

"Alright, I'll be back later!" she leaves with my dad.

Yoko, Bianca, Enid, Wednesday, Divina, Eugene, Xavier and Tyler come in soon after my parents left, behind them is Marilyn, her eyes are puffy and have dark circles. She sits in the chair beside me, I sat up and held her hand, Marilyn is sobbing quietly as she caresses my wounded eye.

"We thought we lost you! You scared me half to death, May!" Enid says as she wipes off her tears.

"If she dies, you'll be next" Wednesday glanced at me dead in the eyes and placed some black flowers on my bed.

"Don't mind them, they're just being gay as usual! Here, I got some honey for you!" Eugene said as he handed me a big jar of honey.

"Thank you, Eugene!" I don't know him much, but if I'm right, he tried to flirt with me last year and asked me out. He has a thing for werewolf girls "How are the other wolves in school doing, anyway?"

"Howling, sobbing, mourning. Those wolves are just as pathetic as always, nothing you need to care about" Yoko sighed.

"Yeah, some even say you died, as if you're that weak!" Bianca rolled her eyes.

"Not all of them like me anyway." I shrug.

After chatting for an hour, my friends left and I was alone with Marilyn. Our hands intertwined. The room was silent, we sat there, no one was talking, but the silence spoke more than we could. I risked my life for a jerk. I risked losing my mate. Losing my lovely Marilyn.

We stayed like that for 15 minutes before she had to get back to school. My eyes lingered on her tiny figure as she left.

This wasn't the first time an arrow pierced my right eye. The last time it happened was last year at Nevermore, I was hit by an arrow by accident, the arrow pierced through my eye and into my brain. Kelly, the Alpha of my family pack, came here immediately after my aunt informed her. I'd almost died that time, that's why I have my power.

Chatting has drained my energy, I could use some sleep.

Sheriff Galpin POV

That werewolf girl's camera had recorded the most horrible thing I've ever seen. The monster with big eyes, sharp teeth, long claws. When I showed my partners this video, they all thought that it was edited. The man in the video was unclear, the flashlight didn't help at all, since it was left behind when she got hit by the first arrow.

The man looks tall, about 6 feet, wore an oversized jacket and cargo pants. The arrow that they found in the girl's head was small, made of silver and had wolfbane extract on it. The killer wanted to kill her no doubt.

Alpha werewolves are rare, very rare even in the school for freaks. Their monstrous form was bigger, stronger and more powerful in many ways, that girl is somewhat proud of Nevermore. Alphas, as far as I know, are natural leaders and protect their surroundings, it's their instincts. The alpha was Nevermore's strongest protection at the moment, not only directly from the Alpha, but also from her pack. If the Alpha is killed, her pack may turn their back on Nevermore. That man may be planning to murder the whole school.

'Sick psycho want to kill freak psychos, huh?'

Marilyn POV

After this morning, I am relieved to know my wolf is fine now. I almost passed out last night when I heard she was shot with a silver arrow in her head. Pulling myself together, I welcomed my students into the class.

"Hello, class, please open your book to page 116" I forced a smile on my face.

"Miss Thornhill, we finished that page last week!" Bianca raises her hand.

"Oh, really? So sorry about that! Um... page 127, please!"

I rambled about this plant to another, I keep speaking but my mind was elsewhere, I couldn't focus on anything but May. Time passed quickly, the bell rang, all students grabbed their things and left. I sighed in relief.

"Miss Thornhill, may I speak to you a bit?" Bianca walked towards me, she seldom speaks to me personally, so this might be something important.

"Of course, what is it?"

"There are some rumors going around. They talked about you and May. I think the board will know soon, I hope they don't fire you, you are the best teacher Nevermore has ever had!"

"Thank you, Bianca! But, I'll be fine!" I smiled sadly.

Mrs. Thompson, the doctor of Nevermore and the one who spread the rumor around, hates me. I don't know why but she just does. She's a vampire, and married for like... 30 years. I don't know her husband but I know he is living in London. I heard from Yoko that Mrs. Thompson was very caring for May, obsessed with her even. Maybe that's why she hates me. She likes my girl. She wants to steal my girl.

It's not that I don't care... But why should I? I am May's Mate. I have read some books in the library about Alpha werewolves. They are more emotional and more aggressive. Alphas need a mate to calm them down, if they don't have a mate before they turn 30, they usually go mad or lose their ability to wolf out due to their emotions overloading. Alphas are stronger, but also moar vulnerable. My wolf is smarter than leaving her mate for an old vampire with big ass glasses and bloody hair that looks awful like someone pees their period on it.

'Wait, I also have big-ass glasses and bloody red hair! Fuck!'

(Pr/n: Marilyn, you forgot something, you got a big ass too)
