Justiniano had reached Palacio de Tondón hotel just as the sun had finished breaking through the clouds and the breeze had blown away the last remnants of the 'unforeseen' event that had occurred. By then both Valentina and Isabella were in their rooms and out of sight of anyone including him whom Valentina didn't want to see.

But knowing that he was on the orders of Magnus, Valentina made her presence known to him by letting him know the room they were staying in. He was thrilled she did because he knew that on his own, he would've never found them. As he went up the steps his only thought was how this encounter was going to turn out as the last one turned out to be a clash. A rush for air and towards the night a neck bite for a message.

When he knocked on door 302 he didn't know what to expect all he knew was that his heart was pumping the blood he had left in his body at a rate that it shouldn't because he knew that everyone that was around could seek him out although by the scent they could tell he had already been bitten and would keep walking or flying or whatever, right now he couldn't worry about that, what he had to worry about was Valentina, he didn't want to die.

Valentina came to the door and greeted him with a smile he didn't like but he couldn't turn back, "Justiniano, what brings you looking for us, or should I say who sends you searching for us?" He lifted the letter quickly to show her, "Your grandfather," and she gave him a malicious look and he quickly changed his phrase to "Magnus sent this letter for both of you, he wants to meet."

When Isabella heard, she came in from the balcony, "What the fuck for? To mess up our life after we had everything in order?" Valentina placed her hand on her arm, "Maybe it is his way of finally stepping up as a man and grandfather and providing answers, which I hope it will be because if it isn't it will be a sad day in the council of the La Sombra Rogues." In her hand, she made a sort of hologram of a vampire with the face of Magnus which got hit by sunlight and spontaneously combusted and Justiniano swallowed dryly.

She looked at him and said, "I don't think words are necessary to let you know what may happen if things don't go well and you forget who you're dealing with, remember I know what you're thinking, yes, he is the grand elder of the La Sombra Rogues council," he looked at her with surprise because he had never mentioned the name of the council mostly the ones who knew their name were the vampires themselves. "We don't enter blindly somewhere without knowing the surroundings and who or who directs those surroundings."

"And as I was previously saying, before we came here, we didn't know about any council or that we even had a grandfather and much less that he was looking for us so believe me when I say that it would be very easy to destroy him without feeling any hurt whatsoever."

"When does he want to meet?" asked Isabella, "it's all explained in the letter and he hopes that you will be able to make it. Is there anything that I can help you both with?" Valentina looked at him, "I want to...rather we would like to know what my father left for us for which you have seen it necessary not to tell us. You gave us all the paperwork to the house and what we needed but nothing of the will or if he left a letter or any words why is that?"

"Maybe it slipped my mind." This time Isabella spoke up, "Slipped your mind? Or do you mean intriguing us to hold our attention to the things that our supposed grandfather had for us? Or maybe you just didn't want to tell us, which is it?" He trembled because he didn't know what powers Isabella had. What he knew was that it couldn't be good because her eyes had the same hue as Valentina's. And she also started to change.
