When they brought Esperanza Gabrio let out a gasp because he hadn't seen her in years and upon seeing her, he couldn't get over the fact that she looked exactly like Evelina. She was just as beautiful. What the hell was she doing with the asshole? Couldn't she see what type of man he was? Was the saying love is blind so true?

Magnus as the head of the council was the first one to welcome her to the 'assembly' in which she was brought. The other elders took notice that it didn't even phase her to see Bartholomew in shackles. She looked at him and nonchalantly asked him why was he shackled up. But they did notice his face turn to that of a loving one as soon as his eyes looked at her. It was as if she had a spell over him calming him, and they couldn't believe that was even possible. Bartholomew change? No, not possible not after everything they had just heard.

And Gabrio all this time thought his wife had disputes with Esperanza because of their father and it wasn't the reason and now he would come to find out why and boy would he be surprised.

Valentina told Isabella to get ready because what was coming was not going to be good and she also told Darius to silently talk to the guards and all who were keeping an eye on things because she had a feeling something bad was coming and he quickly started as well he started telling all those that were only there as spectators to disperse.

And he pointed to Valentina and Isabella.
