Valentina was indeed a beautiful woman but that didn't make Isabella the ugly duckling as usually happens, no, she was just as beautiful as her sister. However, when it came to their personalities they were like a yin-yang coin.
Isabella wasn't the 'here's my shoulder come cry on it' type of girl, while Valentina on the other hand If someone needed some sort of emotional support, she would be the one to offer it.
Isabella was the rebel and intuitive one of the two. The 'never get in my face or else' type of girl. No one would ever overstep the way they treated her or talked to her otherwise an evil fate would befall them.
Although a rebel, she was creative. She loved to sculpt, and paint and often used her imagination to find solutions to her problems as was the case with Dorianus, her human pet. She wanted and needed his sweet liquid but she also wanted a 'toy' and found an ingenious way of having both. In the end, she was able to get rid of him without leaving a trail and making someone else happy.
She was outgoing, friendly, sociable, and gregarious. Isabella was what the humans called an extrovert person. At the same time, she knew she had to keep a close eye on who was around her for she knew what she was and knew how she was 'wanted.' She couldn't draw attention to herself or her sister.
They both liked to go out and go to clubs all the time Valentina and she, as well as the movies or different fun outings. Good thing they could come out in the light otherwise they would have to switch from being extroverts to introverts. She would laugh every time she thought about that.
Valentina was more of an Achiever. Always has a strong desire to accomplish everything she sets her eyes to do. Overcoming whatever challenge is in her way. But she is also the romantic and sentimental one of the two.
Now when it comes to character traits both girls felt the same, whomever liked them fine whomever didn't they could kiss their ass because they weren't there to win a popularity contest. As long as you played nicely with them, they would be with you.
Contrary to other vampires who hunted just to kill, Valentina and Isabella hunted only when they needed to feed and only killed so the person wouldn't suffer. Mostly they chose people they knew were criminals or perverts, as in the case of Isabella's co-worker.
Isabella could be the rebel and the youngest but she could still vividly remember when her uncle, Bartholomew, and his coven, Sanguine Seekers rushed their coven house and caught her father, Lucius, and all in their Coven by surprise and rushed in on them. Remembering how her sister Valentina was next to her to take care of her.
How her uncle mercilessly ripped her father's head from his shoulders, seeing the droplets of blood fall on his shirt as he had just fed and her uncle putting his finger to a drop and tasting it as if it were a drop of honey from the honeycomb. Feeling the tug on her sleeve as Valentina pulls her to run to a safe spot. Good Valentina could be able to blend in otherwise they would have seen them as they walked by.
Her heart broke into pieces when she heard the cries of her mother from afar, not knowing that it was because she had seen the ashes of her beloved husband, her loving father. Isabella could never get out of her head those screams or the look of Valentina who held her tears as she heard their mother scream as they killed her knowing that they could hear her, 'I LOVE YOU BOTH!!'
When the noise was depleted and everyone was gone, they ran to their parents' ashes and also saw the ashes of those they called family in their coven. Right there, they vowed they would get even and their uncle as well as his coven and all who backed him would pay. They vowed they would make him suffer more than the hurt he put them through. And to them he was dead.
Bartholomew would come to learn that the revenge Valentina and Isabella would bring him would be more vicious than anything he had seen or could ever imagine and it was coming straight for him. For they were going to uplift the coven with the traits their father instilled in them, courage, honor, and loyalty, and what he destroyed would be stronger than he could have imagined.
