𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞

Chapter Five

Christian and Rue finished the little session in the shower and is drying off. Rue couldn't stop glancing at Christian which he took notice of. "Do you have something to ask or tell me?"

Rue nodded and completely stopped what she was doing. "When can we go on a normal date?" she asked. Christian turns around to look at her curious. Becoming flustered, she quickly added, "What I mean is, we came into this relationship unexpectedly and we've never had a chance to get to know one another."

"Okay, so what do you suggest we do on this date?" Christian asked. A bright smile was across Rue's face. "I was thinking we could have a picnic date or," Rue rambled out with different ideas and Christian listened with amazement. 

Finally deciding on the date, they chose the picnic. Instead of having it today, they wanted it in Christian's garden. He specifically made the garden once he found out she was pregnant. 

On the other hand, Kristy was becoming anxious. She needed and wanted to see Christian. Kristy searched for Christian and Rue, but nothing. She didn't even know about the secret cabin. When they were dating, Christian never told her anything about the cabin. Rue was the only one who knows besides his workers. 

Days pass and Kristy still didn't know where to find Christian. She eventually gave up and decided to wait until he returns. Kristy walked into the hospital, she was going to visit her father that was sick. He had stage three cancer. Kristy has been taking care of him since her mother divorced him and married a wealthy man. Her mother was a gold digger and she taught Kristy the tricks. Gold digging was one of the reasons she and Christian broke up. 

She only used Christian for the money to pay her father's hospital bill. Kristy now has a job that pays her well and now pays for the medical bills. Kristy is sitting beside her father as she watched him sleep peacefully until she heard the sound of heels against the floor approaching. The door opened and there stood her mother Michelle. 

Kristy looked up and saw Michelle come in with a big smile on her face. "I need to talk to you in private" her mother announced. Kristy nodded, stood up, left her things behind, and walked out into the hallway, closing the door behind them. 

"What is it?" Kristy asked, crossing her arms and staring at her mother annoyed. "I heard that Christian's back in town and has a new wife," Michelle replied. Kristy nodded, "Yes, I already know and met her." Michelle snapped her fingers causing Kristy to become confused. "This isn't the time to be sad. You need to find a way back into his heart and snatch it away. I thought I taught you everything," Michelle said. 

"His wife is pregnant," Kristy replied. Michelle smiled, "That doesn't change anything. I will help you get rid of her so you can have him to yourself." Kristy looked at her mother seeing her plans forming inside her mind. "What's in it for you?" Kristy asked. "A rich son-in-law, who can also take care of my daughter and my same daughter will be able to provide and take care of me," Michelle replied with a smirk.

"I'll think about it," Kristy said and was about to open the door when a figure walked passed her. She turned back around and saw Christian. Kristy saw him on the phone talking. Michelle noticed Kristy's gaze and followed it. "Christian!" she squealed running up to him. Christian turned at his name being called and noticed Kirsty and Michelle. 

He hung up the phone and gave a fake smile. "Hi?" Michelle went in for a hug but Christian took a step back. "Christian, it's been so long. How have you been?" Michelle asked. "Fine, but I don't have time to chat I need to head back to my wife" he replied walking past Michelle and Kristy. 

Kristy watched him walk past and didn't say anything. She was tired of hearing the word "wife". She made her mind up and decided to go on with her mother's plan.
