Surgery was finished, and Rue was transferred to a room. Christian sat next to her and held her hand. He waited for her to wake. The monitor beeped, and he kissed her hand. Christian then felt Rue move her hand. He quickly sat up and looked at her, seeing she slowly opened her eyes. Rue had her head bandaged up from hitting it and a couple of bruises.

She looked towards Christian confused as he caressed her hair. She then remembered the fall and Kristy. "Christian, the baby. Is the baby alright?" she asked. Christian didn't say anything as he looked down. "Why aren't you answering me? What happened to our baby?"

"Our baby is gone. The doctor said it was too risky to save you and the baby, so I had to choose," he replied with tearful eyes. Rue was devasted. She cried, feeling guilty for the loss of her child. "I asked you to save our child. I warned you of what would happen, but you ignored me and believed someone else. I don't want to see you again," Rue sobbed.

"I know, and I'm sorry. Dabin told me everything. I wasn't in my right mind," he explained. "I know, and that should be a reason we shouldn't be together. Our child was the only thing keeping this relationship together, but now we don't have one. I want you to leave.

"Angel, please let me -" Christian began to beg. "LEAVE!" Rue yelled and turned her head facing away from him. Christian stood up and didn't want to push her any further. He walked towards the door and opened it. He looked at her once more before exiting the room and closing the door behind him.

Rue cried silently and placed a hand on her stomach. Christian watched from the window in the hallway. He felt guilty and angry with himself. He started pounding his fist into the wall. "Christian Yu?'

He turned and saw a lady and two guys behind her. "Yes?" he answered. "Grab him," was all the lady said, and the men started to take Christian by each of his arms and injected something in him. "Who are you? Where are you taking me?" Christian asked as he tried to fight but soon felt tired and dizzy.

Dabin watched them drag Christian. As much as he didn't want to call the authorities, he had to for the sake of his friend. He wanted to help him get better, and this was the only way.

On the other hand, Kristy ran so she wouldn't get caught. She met up with Michelle. Kristy waited for her mother in an abandoned building. She could hear the sound of heels against the concrete floor. Kristy turned around, and there stood her mother with her hands placed on the sides of her hips.

"What is this about?" Her mother asked. Kristy shook, trying to get around, telling her mother what just happened. Michelle looked at her daughter and could tell something big just happened.

Michelle reached out and held her daughter's shoulders. In a concerned voice, she asked, "What happened?"

"Christian is going to kill me. I did something terrible," Kristy replied. "What exactly happened, Kristy?" Michelle asked, wanting to know what it was to make her daughter this way.

"I and Rue were arguing, and she was going to tell Christian everything, and I had to stop her," Kristy started to explain. "Kristy, what did you do?"

Kristy hesitated, "I pushed her. I pushed Rue down the stairs. That was the only way I could stop her. She was bleeding so much. I think she miscarried."

Michelle was stunned to speak. She couldn't believe her daughter went through with the plan. "Kirsty, this is good. Christian will finally be yours again," Michelle said. Kristy shook her head, "No, it's not. Christian knows everything, and when he gets revenge, he will never stop til he gets it."
