"Happy New Year!" I yell when I open my front door and come face to face with my Cupcake.

In just a few hours it will be next year! And Cupcake wanted to spend the night with me!

"I heard all the girls at school saying that New Year's Eve is all about glitter!" I squeal, giving him a twirl. Seb and I went shopping a few days a ago and I was drawn to the glitter in the store.

My outfit is a matching set, it is red with a tight short skirt and a long sleeve top. The entire thing is sparkly! Instead of tights I am wearing really tall black boots. The outfit is so cute! I may have stolen it from a bunch of pictures on the internet. It does show a bit of my tummy, but that is okay, Cupcake is going to be the only one to see me, and he always tells me to wear whatever makes me comfortable, even if it would break the dress code at school.

But I never wear outfits against our dress code at school, even though he always says 'screw the dress code, it was just made up by a bunch of creepy old men that were somehow allowed to work around underage girls even though they were somehow distracted by them'. But I don't want to get in any trouble!

"And you look absolutely beautiful." He tells me, wrapping his arm around my bare waist and leading me to the car.

Yumi told me that she is going out with Mr. Matsushima, and Mia is going to her friend's house, so that means it is just going to be Cupcake and I in the house.

"So what do people usually do on New Year's Eve?" I ask, my parents never made a big deal about the new year, I didn't even know people even celebrated it.

"Usually people just stay up until midnight." He says as he opens my door and helps me into the car. He buckles me up and closes the door.

"Why do you always do things for me?" I ask as he gets into the car and starts it. He would never let me open his door for him.

"I've told you, Princess, you deserve the absolute best." Is all he says as he begins to drive away from my house to his.

Would he treat me like this if he didn't like me? He has to like me, right? He never opens Seb's door or carries his bag for him. But maybe it is only because I am a girl? But he never does things like this for Mia. But maybe he treats her differently because it is his sister?

"Is it just me that you would do all this for, or is it like, something you would do for any girl?" I question. Mama always told me that I would never know if I didn't ask.

He reaches over and grabs my hand, "You are the only person that deserves everything I do for you, Princess." He says, squeezing my hand.

"Thank you, Cupcake, you are just way too sweet to me." I tell him.

He lets go of my hand and moves his down to my thigh. He really likes grabbing my thigh for some reason. But I don't mind, I like it too. It makes me feel butterflies.

"You deserve everything I have done for you and more." He says, squeezing my thigh.

Yes, I deserve for you to kiss me. Evangeline, stop that!

"Thank you, Cupcake." I say, looking at the road, they are pretty busy today, apparently a lot of people do things to celebrate the year ending. Who knew?

The drive to his house is quick, we didn't hit any of the red lights.

Cupcake holds me close to him as we walk from his car to his house, trying to stop my shaking.

"Cupcake, why did I wear this? It is really really cute, but not that practical." I realize. We are probably just going to lay in his bed and watch a movie, but I am wearing itchy glitter.
