Roses and Cherry Blossoms

Chapter 26

I think Cupcake gets clingier by the day.

"Please." He begs, his arms wrapped tightly around me.

"No." I protest. He is already trying to get me to skip my classes tomorrow and spend the entire day with him. We live together! We spend every minute we aren't in separate classes together!

"We should go to the library to study." I decide. I have a quiz tomorrow, so I should really prepare for it.

"Or we can do that here." He suggests, squeezing me.

I sigh. "Cupcake, you and I both know that we get nothing done here." Usually he kisses me and I get distracted and forget about schoolwork.

"Fine." He gives in. I pull away from him and stand up.

"Let's go." I announce, unplugging my laptop from the charger.

Our dorm is small, but really cute! As we planned, we pushed both the beds together to make one big bed! We put the two desks right next to each other too. The whole room has a pink and gray theme going on, not even on purpose!

"You meant now?" Cupcake whines. I nod my head and unplug his laptop too.

Cupcake gets up from the bed, he walks right over to me and pulls me into a kiss.

By the time I pull away, I am out of breath.

We both put our laptops in our bags.

The dress I wore today was a bit uncomfortable, so when I got back to our dorm I changed into sage leggings, a matching sage top, and I threw one of Cupcake's hoodies on top, it is just a basic medium gray.

I slip my feet into comfortable white sneakers and take my hair out of the loose low ponytail I had it in.

Our dorm room is on the third floor, so we have to take either the elevator or stairs. We are going down, so we opt for the stairs, rather than waiting for the elevator.

When we get outside, the sun is immediately on us. It is pretty hot in this hoodie, but I know the library is always absolutely freezing.

"The campus is really nice." I think out loud. This campus is huge, but it is beautiful.

"It's too big." Cupcake complains. A bigger area means more people. And Cupcake does not like people.

The library that is closest to our dorms is a bit of a walk, but I am okay with it, it is a really nice day.

When we reach the library, we decide to go to the second floor. As much as climbing a flight of stairs makes me want to cry, it is less crowded up here.

Cupcake and I claim an empty table at the back of the library.

"I have to pee, can you pull up all my notes so you can quiz me?" I ask, gesturing to my bag.

"Anything for you, Princess." He responds, opening my bag.

I can tell he wants to come with me. He 'doesn't trust anyone' and hates when I am without him, but he also knows I need to work on doing things by myself.

"Thank you!" I say, giving the girl holding the door open for me a smile.

This building is a bit of a maze. I end up circling the entire library and going through three doors before I manage to find the bathroom. Now I have to pee so bad!

Luckily, there is no line for the bathroom, but I also think I managed to get lost in a part of the building that hasn't been used in a decade.

I can tell someone is walking behind me, so when I reach a door, I hold it open.
