I didn't realize at the time how much would change when I stepped foot in Evermore High School.
One year ago I walked into that building for the first time.
The day may have started with me sobbing on the floor of the bathroom, and it may have also included me sobbing and getting carried out of English class.
However, it also included meeting my Cupcake.
I have known my Cupcake for an entire year! I cannot believe it!
I look in the mirror and try and smooth down the frizzy strands of hair.
Today I decided to go for a bit of a different outfit. I saw this top and the store and fell in love, but it looks best with jeans.
It is a black denim bustier top, but it is covered in what look like different sections of a newspaper. I pair it with strait leg medium wash blue jeans and white sneakers. I just leave my hair down and natural.
The outfit shows a few inches of skin, but the top dips down in the front, so it would look weird if I had pants on that came higher than where the top ends.
I open the bathroom door and find Cupcake relaxing on the bed. So, obviously, I jump on top of him.
Cupcake doesn't even care about all the weight and force I put on him, he just wraps his arms around me.
Sometimes I wish Cupcake didn't do so many sports his entire life. He would probably be a lot more comfortable if he wasn't made of only muscle.
"What do you wanna do today?" I ask, mumbling into him. "And this is not an option."
As much as I want to just to lay here all day and not move, I know that we need to something.
And I didn't go through the trouble of getting dressed for nothing.
"Mini golf?" He suggests.
I shoot up at the idea. "Yes!" I exclaim that is perfect. People have told me how fun it is, but I still have never been, so I am super excited!
I grab his hand and force him up, I am so excited!
"Can I drive?" I ask. He never lets me drive!
He shakes his head. "No." He tells me, kissing my cheek before going to get his shoes.
Cupcake doesn't like that I always keep two hands on the wheel because it means I can't touch him or hold his hand.
I sigh dramatically, it was the answer I expected. But that means I get to pick the music!
He holds my hand as we leave our room, dodging a few people in the hallway.
I don't think anyone in this building has ever seen one of us without the other.
The weather is perfect. I love the temperature in September. My top is sleeveless, but I am still comfortable with the sun out, but I am also not too hot in my jeans.
As we walk down the concrete path from our building to the parking lot, I avoid eye contact with a girl in my psychology class as we pass each other.
"And you tell me that I shouldn't avoid people." Kai jokes, noticing me clearly ignore the girl, I think her name is Emma.
"We just have a class together, I have never talked to her." I defend.
"Its alright, Princess." He tells me. Finally, we reach the parking lot.
The fun part is trying to remember where we parked. The parking lot is huge and there are a lot of cars.
"Lead the way, Cupcake!" I say, making it known I don't remember where we parked, he just glares at me.
