~ Planet Iredescent ~

Whispers fell silent when the door opened and heavy footsteps entered Mirror Castle, accompanied by the clinking sound of chains.
Sunlight sprung from the tall cylindrical windows as Iro Fenice led an Iredescent criminal into the main hall, standing behind him as he walked forward, bound in silver chains around his arms and chest, his hands tied behind his back.
Iro's firewall encircled him, restricting movement so he couldn't escape. The firewall appeared like a force field made of blue flames, kept within a close but safe distance.
His Byzantium purple trench coat gleamed over his black boots, constructed of intricate leather material that made the heavy footsteps.
Suduko Tristanle, the Ruler of Iredescent, was seated on an opal throne. Light scattered rainbowed hues on the lightweight purple crown, glittering with the Iredescent rose emblem shaped from a purple gemstone.
His enormous wings were deep blue with silver glitter. A purple cape draped around his sleeveless tunic and pants in a myriad of blue colors, reminiscent of the sky meeting an ocean.
To the right stood Suduko's main advisor, Raistin Fenice. Raistin was an eternal Phoenix. Raistin ranked higher than anyone, even the Ruler of Iredescent, though a ruler was designated to rule planet Iredescent.
At first glance, one could hardly tell that this skinny attractive man was the most powerful lifeform in the galaxy. Long black hair, earthy brown eyes, smooth olive skin, stylish black clothes, and a cheerful demeanor was what was usually seen of Raistin at first glance.
Today, however, Raistin's cheerful demeanor was replaced with a solemn gaze as he met the Iredescent criminal's eyes. Eyes that proved he had no remorse, feeling validated in his wrongdoing. Raisin sighed, not liking this sunlit melancholy event, though he was thankful it seldom occurred. Crime was rare on Iredescent.
Near Raistin stood the Iredescent criminal's children. The daughter looked exactly like her father with long black hair and emerald green eyes. She was holding her brother's hand as he cried.
"Killian Decuir, you are accused of murdering your wife, Vinessa Decuir," spoke Suduko Tristanle, starting the trial. "You are convicted of murder. Do you plead guilty of this crime?"
"Indeed, I am guilty," Killian confirmed. "And I do not regret what I have done."
It is a wonder I put up with my wife for so long, Killian thought as he remembered the sixteen years of ignorance before he discovered the abhorrent truth and killed his wife with a silk cloaked dagger, staining the bedsheets with her shimmery Iredescent blood.
Sadness came over Suduko's benevolent eyes. "State a reason as to why you committed the crime."
"I refuse to state a reason," Killian responded.
"This is the first crime that occurred in a decade, committed by a man with no prior criminal history. Surely there must be a reason for you to murder your own wife," Suduko said harshly.
Killian locked eyes with Suduko, his gaze unflinching. After a few minutes, when it was clear that Killian was not going to state a reason, Suduko turned his gaze towards Killian's children.
His sixteen-year-old daughter was strong-willed, showing courage even at the trial of her father's crime. It was clear she was trying to be strong for her thirteen-year-old brother.
