Chapter 6 | A Pinky Promise

I'm just at my mini bar pouring myself wine ending the day early. I've never really got to sleep without alcohol and it's a running routine for me

I just sigh while playing noises on my phone to cover the deafening silence in my house. "I hate this feeling" i hummed tilting the glass getting in my head on how lonely i am after the cameras were turned off

My phone suddenly light up as i take another sip seeing an unknown number texting me " hey, it's Scarlett... I got your number from the producer" i read it making me smile to myself

I quickly responded of course i mean it's Scarlett Johansson, i would kill anyone to receive a text from her years ago

I just asked what's the matter but she suddenly called and...my anxiety just overflowed that i almost sprayed out the wine i was drinking

It's just an audio call.. thankgod coz i look like shit right now and yknow I can't risk getting less attractive when she's around

"Hello?"

"H-Hi.. uhmm... what's up?" I asked before literally punching my self WHO THE HELL SAYS WHATS UP ANYMORE????

"oh uhm nothing much just wondering if you can come to uhm my son's birthday next week... Rose really wants to see you again" she says

"Just rose?" I asked alcohol hitting the spot of getting courage on my body

"Huh?"

"Oh uhm yeah i would love to" i quickly says can't remove the smile on my lips

"I heard you said rose? Sorry you're audio is kind of cutting off"

"Yeah, i just said say hi to rosie for me" i says earning a hummed

" Mkay that's uhm all, sorry did i disturb you?"

" No.. not at all.."

" Ok then uhm... I'll see you" she awkwardly says

"see you.."

She didn't even said bye and just ended it seems like she's panicking or something. I just finished the glass of wine before going upstairs and just drop dead on my bed

I woke up with a pounding head as usual. I went straight downstairs to check my mail since another producer sent a script to me to see if i would like to play the role.

As soon as i go outside there's already camera's flashing in from afar. "When will these people leave me the fuck alone" i shaked my head covering my face by the script

I immediately open it but to my surprise it wasn't what i expected "from rose.." i read the card that came with it making me smile to myself as she just continually talks about me asking her mom out with a PS at the bottom quoted 'dont tell mommy i told you to ask her to be your wife'

I open the box seeing it's a bunch of candies and some cookies which she also said in the letter that she personally made them... Even if they're still at the box of a bakery shop

After a while i decided to go out and look for something i can give to cosmo. I just put on some glasses and mask to avoid the paparazzi before hopping in my car

"Hmm.. what would a 3 year old want" i hummed to myself still focus on the road

I wanna put myself on the situation like what would 3 years old me want as a gift but all i can think of is money

After an hour i arrived at the mall and just tried my best to avoid people but still takes pictures when someone recognizes me

As i arrived at the toy store part of the mall, the employees immediately approached me "what are we looking for today?" One of them asks
