It's the next day and... Also the day I'll meet Scarlett's mom. I'm not nervous because I know how to approach people respectfully... I'm nervous because of my age and i don't have an additional 10 inches flesh
I put on my best squeaking casual clean casual look and my most expensive car before picking up Scarlett and the kids
I drove to Scarlett's and as soon as i arrive they're actually already at the gate waiting. I quickly grabbed the flowers i got her at the backseat before getting out of the car going to them
"Good morning" i greeted smiling as she gave me a kiss on the cheeks
"You didn't have to" she says putting her lips together trying to stop smiling
"Where's mine???" Rose asked
"A little reminder that she's mine" Scarlett leaned down scrunching her nose on rose pinching her cheeks
I ran to the car opening the doors for them before grabbing cosmo to put him on the baby chair car thingy i got earlier for him
"You have a child safety seat??" Scarlett asked looking at us in the back seemed surprised and fascinated at the same time
"Hmm... bought one earlier..yknow for future commitments.. who knows i might have 2 kids and a wonderful wife someday?" I responded..look..i can and i would hit my shot anytime i have a chance
"UHHHHHH is that Starbucks??" rose gasp seeing a bag backseat
"Open it" i nodded at her while i make sure cosmo is Buckled up
"MOMMYYYY!!" she cheered making me chuckle
I got her cake pops that are arranged like a flower bouquet...i mean I'm pretty sure she prefers that than the ones you can only stare at

Rose literally melts on her seat taking her face bite "mommy...just marry her already" she groaned closing her eyes
" Nice car.... you're really trying to impress aren't you?" She chuckles
"Of course...gotta make a great first impression to my future mother in law" i shrugged hearing her chuckles as i Start the car
As soon as i sat down i immediately checked if everything is already settled "scar.. your seatbelt" i huffed
"Hmm?" She hummed raising both her brows
"I said...your seatbelt" i reached over for it making sure she's safe
Scarlett guide our way there saying the directions "why don't you just search it on the app so i can follow it there and you can take a nap.. you seemed a little tired" i hummed still focus on the road
I've never drove this slow in my life..now i know the feeling of having kids in the car when you're a reckless driver that never followed a speed limit
"What app?" She confusedly says
"Y'know? Like maps or something"
"maps? Why would i have a map? Not that we're in the 80's" she chuckled but I'm genuinely confused
" No.. i mean a mobile app not a literally paper map.. you can search the location there and it'll show me the directions" i explained
NOW SHE LOOKS CONFUSED
"Mobile app? Like Facebook?" She asked and i just stopped the car to look down and laugh at how cute she is
"Whatt?? Tell mee, stop laughing" she complained also chuckling
