When Tia and Calum made their way back to the gym, they noticed that there was an unusual loud noise coming from inside.

Giving each other a quick and strange look, they opened the gym doors; revealing a wailing Lily and two rather large boys chasing her. Although it may have seemed like Lily was running for her life, Tia could tell she wasn't because there was a smile plastered on her face.

"Oh my God, guys, stop! I'm tired!" Lily yelled, running and choking on her own laughter.

"Not until you tell us what your favorite song by us is!" Ashton hollered after Lily, Luke following close behind.

Lily stopped to catch her breath in the middle of the gym. "I already told you, I love every single one of them! I can't choose."

Ashton looked at Luke before stopping in front of Lily, grinning as Luke grabbed her by her hips and threw her over his shoulder. She squealed loudly and pounded on his back, shaking with laughter.

"Stop! Guys, I'm serious, I think I'm gonna puke." Lily covered her mouth.

Ashton's face immediately hardened. "Oh, shît. Luke put her down!" Ashton said, panicking.

Tia giggled because she knew Lily was just faking it; the blonde was capable on going the craziest roller coasters and stomach-dropping rides, there was no way she couldn't take a little roughing up. Calum just shook his head with disapproval, but Tia could tell he found this all amusing. After all, just a few moments ago Lily was sulking about Michael, who, by the way, hadn't been seen since they had left him out there with Lily.

The door budged open behind the pair, startling both of them and making them jump forward.

Speak of the devil.

Michael trudged in, not even bothering to say sorry for practically pushing the door in Tia and Calum's faces. He made a beeline to his guitar; stealing quick glances at the giggling Lily that had finally been out down.

Luke noticed Michael walking in and smiled. "Mike! Nice of you to finally join us."

Michael just grunted; looking presumably unhappy by how Lily didn't notice him until Luke pointed him out.

Lily immediately stopped laughing and just stared down at her feet, her head titled down so her wavy hair could cover her face. Ashton just looked back and forth between the red-head and the girl beside him, realizing what was going on.

Beside Tia, Calum clapped his hands together loudly. "So guys, lets start!" He grabbed Tia's hand with a huge smile and guided her to the front of the stage. She mentally hugged Calum for his attempt to lighten the darkened mood that had taken over the gym.

Calum let go of Tia's hand and made his way up to the stage, joining Michael who was already ready. Luke and Ashton jumped up on stage and both gave the girls a wink. Ashton sat in the back with his drum kit looking at it like he could kiss the thing, and Luke picked up his guitar and moved the mic towards his face with an ear-to-ear grin.

Michael held his guitar tightly, like it was the only thing he had left.

Tia felt the presence of Lily taking a spot next to her, and turned to her best friend. "They're amazing."

"Oh trust me, I know." Lily said quietly, her eyes gleaming.

"Lil, are you alright? If being near him is hard then we can leave." Tia said it so reluctantly that she couldn't even believe it herself. But she had to do this for her friend, she couldn't stand seeing her sad. And if the cost of Lily's happiness was Tia's remorse, then so be it.
