Our small group of four sat together in the corner of the bunk room, sitting on pillows and blankets on the floor.
Everyone had already gone to bed besides us. We were all tired but I owed them an explanation of what happened.
Especially after they watched Eric practically limp to the train after the game looking like a porcupine with all the darts I'd shot him with.
They knew enough that he was the one who hurt me but they didn't know how. I owed them the story and finally had the courage to tell it.
"So I was by myself in the training room. First off. I couldn't find Four and just took advantage of the emptiness of the room and decided to do my own thing until I got tired."
"By yourself?" Gally raised an eyebrow. "You could've came and got me and we'd have trained together."
"I didn't think about it. Plus the alone time was nice. I was able to think on my own with no distractions. It was therapeutic."
"Understandable, go on," Chris waved me on.
I'd also like to mention that Chris is practically on top of Thomas. I plan on bringing that up another time. Because it's clear what direction they're going in and I'm so happy for them.
"Then Eric somehow got in without me noticing and attacked me," I frowned. I was laying back on Gally's chest between his legs so I felt him tense up when I told this part of the story. "He forced himself onto me like Zart probably planned on in the Glade. Only- he followed through with the whole thing and left me in the dark by myself."
It was quiet for a while, but then Gally reached up and wrapped his arms around me from behind. And placed his chin on my shoulder. That's when my eyes watered. Because I felt so safe in his arms.
"And then... Four found you and brought you to the infirmary," Christina nodded. "Who all knows besides us now?"
"Just Four as far as I know. He said he was going to tell Leadership but I'm not sure if he has yet or not," I explained, then leaned my head back against Gally again. "He threatened me. And you."
"Me?" Gally sat up a little and repositioned. "What did he say?"
"He threatened to kill you if I told anyone what he did. Four said no one was killing anyone but how is anyone supposed to take that kind of threat lightly?"
"I could take him," Gally grumbled. "It's taking everything I have right now not to go hunt him down and kill him first."
"I need you here," I linked my fingers into his. "You starting a fight with a Leader would get you kicked out in a heartbeat."
"He doesn't deserve his job," Thomas scowled. "What kind of leader does that shit and get away with it?"
"A shucking psychopath with a death wish," Gally grumbled. "If he touches you again he will be murdered on site. I don't care what it means for me."
