Chapter Five of Legendary

I step into the house and close the large door behind myself. I start making my way down to the gym to meet up with Darren. I open the doors and he's sitting on the bench. I walk over to him. He looks up and smiles. "Let's start now." He says standing up. "Okay, what first?" I ask. "Shifting." He says and I groan. It's supposed to hurt like a bitch, so I'm not looking forward to it. At least I get a surprise today.

"Just relax your body and go down on all fours." He says. I clear my mind of all thoughts. I'm already on my hands and knees. "Now think of becoming a wolf, and you shall." He calmly says. I think, and I don't think very hard. All I think of is how Darren shifted on that first day. I start to feel burns in my body. Not in one place, they're everywhere. I whimper in pain as my bones shift and crack into a wolf's shape. I hear my clothes tear from the growth. "Good girl. Almost done." Darren says making me sigh in relief. I feel the intense burning die down and my bones set into place.

Once I'm done, I stand there, waiting for Darren to say something to me. I look up to his face and see his wide eyes and worried expression.

What's wrong?

He snaps out of his trance, lightly shaking his head and looking at me normally. "It's just I've never seen a white wolf before, I'll go to my library later to get some information about them." Darren says.

"Anyway, You've finished. That took about an hour, but it was worth it. You're wolf is very beautiful." He says petting my head like a dog. An hour? That felt like ten seconds! I jump up and lick his face and he falls back laughing. I get off him and let my tongue hang out of my closed mouth. "Here, I'll get you a mirror." Darren says and runs off. I lay down on the gym floor for a while.

My tongue becomes dry and I put it back in my mouth. I hear quiet footsteps approaching. There's more than one set though. I sit still and watch as Darren comes in with a mirror, along with Luke. He's holding the mirror backwards so I can't look into it. "Whoa, she is beautiful." I hear Luke mutter.

I heard that Luke. I growl out.

Oh.

I chuckle as a wolf but no sound comes out. Darren places down the mirror and I trot over to it. It feels so natural in this form, I thought I'd be falling over trying to stand but it was easy. I look cute, like super cute. My four paws are dipped with gray up to my knees and my green eyes stand out against the white easily. I could kill someone with my looks. Too bad I can't do that in real life. I bark at my reflection a few times and the boys chuckle.

"Let's go outside, I'm sure you'd like to run." Darren says opening a door.

Yes please! This is awesome!

I walk out and through the hall. Darren is in front of me and Luke is behind. I look down at my paws. Now that I look closer, they are more of a dark white than gray. Darren opens another door and I see green. "Since we don't know much about white wolves yet, I ordered my men to leave a private area it the forest for us." Darren says. We walk through the front door and Darren stops, so I do too. He goes down and shifts into his wolf.

I turn around and see Luke in his wolf too. My wolf gets eager and I feel the need to go. Darren walks over to the forest beside the house and he stops and waits for the rest of us. I feel the urge get stronger and I can't control myself any longer.
