Chapter Eleven of Legendary
"Scarlett! Wake up or I swear I'll pour a bucket of ice water on your face!" A voice shouts and I pry my eyes open as quickly as possible. "I'm awake!" I say, sitting up and avoiding the freezing water. "Good. Miranda caught us breakfast for once and it's ready to eat. We leave when we are done." The voice turns out to be Dylan's. I give him a quick nod and he walks away, back towards the newly built fire.
He sits down on the log and grabs himself some venison. I pull back my bed covers and rub my face. I sit there for a minute, yawning and stretching before I felt fully awake.
I stand up and head behind a tree to get dressed. I come back and sit on the log, next to Dylan. I grab some of the cooked venison. I eat a few ribs and pack up my bed supplies. I then grab my bag, patiently waiting for the rest of the group to finish. When they do, we start our journey to our new house.
(Two Days Later)
"Are we there yet?" Miranda whined. This was probably the fiftieth time she's said that. We all groan again, but Darlene keeps walking silently. That is, until she speaks up. "We are close, just be try and be patient for a little longer." She says keeping her eyes ahead of her. We walk quietly again, only hearing the crunching of the ground under our feet. Slowly, the trees clear and we step into a field.
In the distance, there's a large house. Surrounding the big house there are a bunch of little ones but they are burnt and in pieces. As we get closer, I see that the big house is worn down. The closer we get, the more familiar the place gets. We walk around the house to the front and I gasp, finding it impossible to catch my breath.
This is Darren's house.
•Caden Martin's POV•
As we march over to the house, fighters equip their silver. I do to, snarling loudly. I bang on the giant front door in human form. Darren answers the door, expecting nothing important. I growl. "Where is she?!" I yell, picking him up by his collar, dangling him in the air. He starts to panic. "She's not here! She left a few hours ago!" He says shaking.
"Bullshit! I know you are hiding her somewhere!" I snarl. "I'm telling the truth!" He pleads. I throw him to the side and march through the house, my warriors behind me.
Footsteps crash down the stairs and I am met with the Beta and Luna. "Where is she?" I yell and they jump in fright. "Sh-she l-left a w-hile a-ago s-s-sir." The Luna stutters, her body full of fear. I growl at them, prepared to kill.
"She's telling the truth, you have to believe her." The Beta tries to confirm. I hear a grunt and shuffling to my right. "You believe you can just walk into my house and demand something we don't have? I don't know what's got it's way shoved up your ass but Scarlett left a long time ago and I don't think she plans on coming back." Darren says walking back over, brushing some dirt off himself from outside.
"You really want to challenge me pup?" I say, taking steps forward. "Remember when my pack was on your territory and my father threatened to kill your pack if you didn't give us Scarlett?" Darren gives me a questionable look before slowly nodding. "Well same goes now. Give us the girl and nobody gets hurt."
(I don't feel like explaining in detail how Caden destroyed their pack so here's this little bit)
Less than an hour later, the Storm pack was extinct, except for the Alpha, Beta, and Luna. I needed to bring them back for questioning. My men burnt the entire territory to the ground, but not the pack house. The children were slaughtered, mothers and fathers too. Darren was an Alpha no more. Once finished, we went home and celebrated our destruction.

Werewolf"So Scarlett, you have no clue why you are here?" Darren says and I shake my head. "Well, you're in for a surprise." He says and grins. It's not an evil grin, but he's trying to tell me I'll be shocked. I nod again. Luke walks over and stands besid...
