Chapter Six of Legendary

My eyes flutter open from my nap. I yawn and stretch in bed. I slide my feet off the bed and place them on the ground. "She's awake now. Open the door Darren." Someone whispers. I quietly make my way over to the door. I open in and see Luke and Darren standing there. I chuckle. "What do you guys need?" I say leaning against the doorway.

"We just wanted to talk about yesterday and those rouges and also I found the book about white wolves for you to read. Only white wolves are allowed to read it. Anybody else that opens it dies immediately." He informs me and I nod. They lead the way by walking down the stairs. I follow close behind. We reach the ground floor and we place ourselves on the couches. "Can I ask a few questions first?" I ask them, looking between the both of them. They nod in agreement. "Who where they?" I question.

"The one with orange eyes was Luke's older brother. He's a traitor. The other two I do not know. They were all rouges." Darren informs me and I nod. "Why did they want me?" Luke sighs at my question. "I do not know." Luke says. "But that's not the reason we want you down here. We want to talk about something else." Darren informs and confuses me. "There's something up with you and we want the pack doctor to figure it out. I've never seen anything like it." I nod.

"First of all, it's weird how you can run faster than an Alpha. Alphas are the best at everything. They have the best everything, but somehow you've got better. Your claws and teeth were longer than mine when you were killing Kevin, Luke's brother. It's as if there's another part to you." He says and nothing clicks in my head.

"When can I see the doctor?" I ask. "Now if you'd like." Darren says and gets up. I get up to and follow them. We head down to the basement and into a room that has a sign on it reading 'PACK DOCTOR'. Darren knocks and then pushes the door. We walk inside and the door closes its self behind us. A woman in seated behind a small desk.

Darren babbles some things to her as I look around the room. There's a book shelf full of books about werewolves and other supernaturals. There are posters everywhere in the room with diagrams of body parts. "Scarlett." I hear, but my body doesn't pay attention. "Scarlett." Somebody says louder. I am suddenly woken from my thoughts and I snap back to reality. "Huh?" I say and walk back to Darren.

"Dr. Quinn would like to run a few tests if you don't mind." Darren tells me. I nod and the lady comes over to me with a needle. "I just need a blood sample." She informs me. I feel her poke me with the needle and I feel some blood escape my body. I don't whimper or shudder. She takes out the needle and walks back to her desk. She tells us we will need to wait in the waiting room till she's done testing the sample.

Half an hour later she comes to us with the sample. We walk into her office with her. "Using a highly advanced detector we traced down what is causing this and I'm quite surprised with the results." Dr. Quinn starts. "You are a human, Werewolf, and... A Vampire." I almost faint just like that. I look to Darren with shock and he looks at me with the same face. "That's what is behind all those special powers. You are very rare Miss...?" She questions at the end. "Evans." I finish her sentence.

"That may be why your parents were never in a pack! They were vampires or werewolves and they didn't want to get noticed. Maybe that's why they were murdered too. They didn't want to join a pack." Darren speaks up with smart words. I nod and Dr.Quinn catches my attention again.

"Your wolf is rare, different colors mean different things. Black is the usual colour of wolves, along with dark brown. Lighter brown,
red-ish brown and a sandy yellow is uncommon. Gray is rare and white is legendary. There have only been a few white wolves ever recorded in history."
