Chapter Eight of Legendary

I go over to my bag and search through it. I find one of the necklaces my father gave me to use in desperate situations. He didn't tell me what was in it though. The ball on the necklace pops open with a light push and a sharp stone falls from it. My hand gets cut from touching it. I pick it up with my other hand and examine it. It's a tiny metal blade, except I don't know the type of metal. I notice a hinge on it an I pull on it. The blade unfolds and becomes longer. To test, I take the chain of the necklace and cut it with the blade.

In a second, the chain is cut in two. I smile and walk over to the bars. I quickly slice the blade through a bar and it almost falls to the ground when I catch it with my hand. I lightly place it down and cut another so there's enough room to walk out. I set down the bar and grab my bag. I hide the blade back in it's ball and walk through my opening. I outsmarted the smartest. I walk down the hall of cells until I reach the exit. There's a man on duty, but he's fast asleep in his chair. I slit his throat and walk past him and up the stairs. I open the door at the top and find myself exiting a small shack. So the jail is underground? I shrug and continue walking.

This was supposed to be the strongest, biggest, smartest, most fear pack, and hear I am escaping. I hear a growl. "Not so fast Ma'am." A man says and I whip around to be faced with another guard. I hear more footsteps and the they've got me. If only I could fly. "Take her to Alpha Cory. If she can escape the cells, It's not safe there." Somebody says. I get pushed along until I am face first with Cory. "If she can escape the cells, there's no place she can be. I'll just murder her like I did her parents." He says and I gasp. So this was my murderer?

"I have a proposal instead. A fight to the death." I say. He chuckles. "Okay, but be warned, I'll win." He challenges. Stupid Alpha. "John, get the pack. I want them to watch my victory." He says. I get dragged once again but I don't know where cause a blindfold is placed over my eyes. A few minutes later yelling and cheering fills my ears. My blindfold is removed and I my hands are no longer restrained. I rub my wrists and eyes, waking myself up again.

I see Cory in front of me and someone else off to the side a bit. They say the rules and then I hear what I want. "FIGHT!" The announcer says and I immediately shift. I think of what he said a while ago. I'll just murder her like I did her parents. I growl and my vampire already takes over. This man killed my parents. He is the one who ruined my life. Cory shifts into his bigger black wolf. I laugh. I'm the rare one here, he's nothing but classic. I may look classic, but I'm Legendary.

Cory takes the first move and runs at me, throwing himself in the air. I dodge to the left and clamp my teeth into his neck. My vampire fully takes over and I go on rampage. I chomp down harder and he Growls. He shakes me off with tons of force and he scratches at me. The crowd cheers for him. He gets a little mark on my side. I slightly whimper but recover with a growl. I run and him full force and nock him over.

Once on his side I recover and get on top of him. I shove my claws under his ribcage, making him cry out in pain. The cheering crowd goes into quiet whispers. They're shocked. I pull up my paw as it is inside of him. I snarl, showing off my large canines to my opponent. I drag it back out and pull some organs out too. Intestines and guts. I toss them to the side and finish off the fight by biting his neck, cutting off his air. His whimpers slowly die down to nothing, along with his heartbeat. I drop him to the ground like a rag doll. I howl out in victory.

The announcer tosses me some clothes and I quickly shift and change. I'm standing in the center of a giant quiet circle. The faces of the people are pure shock and discomfort. These people fear me. I rule the world. The announcer comes over to me. "That was unexpected but the Alpha's son needs to speak with you to figure out what to do with you." She whispers. I nod and follow her to where the new Alpha is. She leads me to what I'm guessing is their pack house. We go inside and saying it was beautiful was an understatement. It looked like it was from a movie. We continue through the house and go up a few flights of stairs and enter a room.
