"Wake up..."
"Wake up..."
"You're not dead..."
Blaze slowly opened his eyes. He felt no more pain from the injuries. He looked around, he was in a forest but... not the one he was currently in. The trees were a grayish blue, and the grass was replaced with mist. He seemed to be on a path that continued infinitely either way. The sky looked like a beautiful starry night, with different purples and indigos. Blaze sat up and looked around. "Hello? Who's there?" There was no response. He got up and started to walk forward. This must be the starwatch. The starwatch was where the hybrids went after death. They went to a plain above the stars, where they watched over the others. They would be reborn once their soul was forgotten or sacrificed in order to bring back a life of a loved one. But... was he dead? "Hello??? Anyone???" As he spoke, something rushed passed him. He quickly turned, but it was gone. "Please! Someone!" Another being rushed by. Blaze quickly turned as he saw a tail dissaper into the bushes. He slowly walked towards them and peered in. Nothing was there. Blaze backed up a little and sat down. "I'm dead and lost..."
"You are not dead."
"But you aren't alive either."
Blaze quickly looked around for the two voices. "Who are you?"
Suddenly, three figures walked out from behind a tree. One was a hybrid, and two were wolves. The hybrid was golden and white, his arms covered in yellow fur. He had yellow and gold armor on, and the symbol of the sun shown brightly on it. The wolves seemed to be made out of fire. One was a more violent five while one was a more calmer one. "Who are you?" Asked Blaze. The hybrid walked forward. "I am Kovu. You may have heard of me from legends." Blaze felt his jaw drop. Kovu, god of the day and justice. Apparently, when hybrids came to exist, he and multiple other gods came to the world. None could enter the physical world, but they helped control everything. Blaze quickly knelt down and bowed. "Sir, it is an honor to meet you."
"He seems respectful." Said one of the wolves. Blaze recognized the wolves too. Azar and Inigo, Kovu's protecters. Azar was the one with the violent flames while Inigo was the calmer flames. Azar seemed to grow closer. "He needs a lot of training." His voice boomed.
"Yes but he is the one we need." Blaze looked at Inigo. "What?" Kovu walked up to Blaze. "Blaze. Do you know what an Astral is?"
Blaze nodded. "Astrals are warrior who are gifted elemental powers. Such as Onyx and Reyu. Why?" Kovu looked at Blaze. "Exactly..." Blaze stood there silently. He suddenly snapped back to reality. "WAIT ME?!?!" Azar looked at him. "Wow, he took longer to realize then I thought." Inigo nudged Azar. Blaze looked at Kovu. "There must be a mistake, I-"
"There is no mistake Blaze. You are destined to save the rest of the others in captivity of Elementia... It is you who must stop Dindari..." Blaze looked at Kovu. "Dindari?!?! Like the god of night and corruption?!?! I can't stop a god!!! And isn't he on our side!?!?" Kovu shook his head. "There was another we gifted powers... he... helped what happened to Elementia because him and Din took a deal." Blaze felt his heart sink. "One of us... caused the raid?" Kovu nodded. "We lost the other gods after that... Lazanti, Onali, Belanta... all of them. Din caused disorder between us... we need you Blaze." Blaze felt his heart beating fast. "Well... I... I guess I can..." Kovu nodded. "Azar, Inigo, start it now." Both wolves nodded and started to walk around Blaze. Fire slowly started to follow their trail. Blaze looked at Kovu, as he slowly opened his hands. "Learn your powers. Gift your army with them. You are the Eternal Blaze." Blaze nodded as Kovu placed his hands on his chest. Suddenly, the fire surrounding Blaze jumped onto him. Blaze expected a burn, but there was none. Slowly, the fire dissapered into his body. Blaze suddenly felt his body hurt. He gasped in pain as it felt all his bones were reforming. "We will be with you all the way, and we will help however we can." With Kovu's words, Blaze awoke.

Blaze gasped as he awoke. He pushed himself up and felt his body. His bones were ok. No major injuries except cuts. He looked around. He was in the place he fell, only he could actually see now.It was a shrine. In front of him was a shrine for all of his gods. All of them held their weapons. The most notable were Kovu and Dindari, standing back to back. Kovu held a staff, and Dindari held a sword. Blaze started to back up when he felt himself step on something. There below him were two swords. They looked like jikdos. Weird lines traced across the blade and cords at the end of the hilt. On the sides, it read, "Azar and Inigo." Blaze looked at them. "Holy shit..."
"BLAZE!!!" The echo of Nyli's yell sounded from the top of the large cavern. Blaze grabbed the swords and looked up. It was a long way up. "Swing us and press the red button." Blaze looked at the blades as he heard Inigo's faint whisper. The green button rested on the hilt, just below the cross-guard. Blaze looked up and swung, pressing the green button. The blades suddenly broke apart into chain whips, digging into the wall high above. Blaze was about to react when he released the green button. The swords suddenly started to retract and he was slingshotted up. He yelled as he felt the blades disconnect from the wall. "Throw them." Blaze threw the blades above him. The cable connected to the hilts extend. The swords stabbed in the wall and pulled Blaze up. As the cords came towards his hands, Blaze pulled with all his might. The swords released and Blaze flew to the top of the cavern. Blaze emerged, backflipping and landing on his feet. He stood and gasped from the adrenaline rush. "Uh... Blaze?" Blaze turned to see his entire group, stunned faces. "Uhm. Hey guys."
"One. How did you do that... and two... how did you get those?" Blaze looked at his swords. "Uh... they were down in the cave, and I just kinda did... that." Roren walked over and looked at them. "Huh. Interesting... they are in very good condition."
Pheramone looked down the cave. "What was down there?"
"A shrine." Nyli walked over to Blaze. She grabbed his face and looked at it. "Geez, you're in rough shape. We should get you to camp. Blaze got a glance behind her, seeing Roren look away and Pheromone's ears droop. Blaze looked back at Nyli. "I'm fine Nyli." Nyli rolled her eyes. "Just... take it easy the next couple days." Blaze nodded. "We should tell Keado about this; We don't want anyone getting hurt." Blaze nodded from Bio's remark. There was a twig snap. Blaze turned and saw a pair of eyes, quickly retreating. Blaze watched the eyes slowly disappear into the forest. Who was that?
