Chapter 10: The Moonlight

Blaze felt his legs ache. He was still running. He couldn't stop. He didn't know were he was but he couldn't stop. "Blaze!" Blaze turned as he saw Ezra, running by his side. "Use your weapons! Slash with them!" Blaze looked at his swords. He used his right sword and slashed, a large flame slashes followed by it. Blaze slashed 4 more times, suddenly feeling him gain control his legs. He slid to a stop and gasped for air. He didn't have air, yet his stamina was still up there. "I see you are learning your special moves." Blaze turned to Ezra. "Special moves?"
"Yea- every astral has them. Don't tell me you accidentally used it."
Blaze stayed silent. "O-Oh! Wait! Did you reveal yourself?!"
"I don't know... I knocked out Keado-"
Ezra stared. "You... knocked out Keado?" Blaze nodded. "Yea... but a majority know about my powers and are joining the astral order."
"Astral Order?" he asked. "Blaze I told you, you shouldn't build an army, someone could find out and tell Keado."
"But no one has." Blaze shot back. "We can finally take back Elementia!"
"Even so there are many humans! Your camp won't-"
"But we can try!" He yells. Ezra seems to stare and sigh. "Fine... but... don't say I didn't warn you."
Blaze noticed a look in Ezra's eye, clearly thinking it was a bad idea. Blaze smiled. "Hey... I promise I'll be safe..."
Ezra nodded. "So what about these special moves?" Asked Blaze.
"Well. Each style has specific moves you can use. Typically its a certain stance and then you attack, and yelling the name will make it more powerful. For your type of fire, the only ones known are Burst Forth, the one you used, Scorching Cuts, and Magma Slashes. There are still two more styles, but no one knows." Blaze looked down. "Wow..." There was a sudden shadow on the floor. Blaze looked up and saw a tail, who he recognized was Nyli. "Nyli!" He yelled as he quickly rushed after. "Hey Blaze wait-" Ezra's voice faded as Blaze rushed after. "Azar, Inigo, help me out!"
"Use your blades."
"Propel yourself with the trees."
Blaze nodded as he drew his swords. He swung the blades and pressed the button's on the hilt, extending the swords into the blade whip forms. He spins them and sends them into the top of the trees. He released the buttons, lifting Blaze off the ground, slingshotting into the air. Blaze felt himself flying forward, seeing Nyli in the distance. "Nyli wait!" Nyli immediately turned, knife in hand. She slashed and Blaze dodged midair. "NYLI ITS ME-" Suddenly, Blaze felt himself falling. "Shit shit shit!" Blaze tried to use the blades again when he felt something grab him. He looked up and saw Nyli. He could see tears were streaming down her eyes. "Nyli..." Nyli flew down, and placed him on the ground. They were on the cliff, where in the distance, was Elementia. Its bright lights shown clearly, highlighting the large castle in the middle and the large city around it. Blaze looked at Nyli. "Nyli... what is it?" Nyli wasn't looking Blaze. She looked in the distance, tears streaming down her face. "Nyli... If this is about Adieu I'm sorry..."
"Its not that... It was mutual... but... we cant be friends anymore..."
Blaze felt his heart shatter. "W-What?! W-Why? I-Is this because I haven't been around a lot? I'm sorry and I can explain-"
"If I don't Keado will kick you out!"
Blaze froze, as his ears drooped. Nyli looked at him. "I-If he casts you out, you will die! He hates you and wants no connections with you... H-He... I-I..." She hugged him suddenly. "I can't lose you! I've lost too much already! My mom, my younger brother... please... I can't lose you!"
Blaze felt his ears fold back. "I... I think I'm already gonna get kicked out..."
Nyli looked up at him, her eyes filled with fear. "What!?!?"
"Keado wouldn't let me go find you and antagonized me. I charged at him... and slashed him... he is alive but... I'll probably not be welcomed back..."
Nyli slowly looked down and slumped to the floor. "No... No no no no..." Blaze knelt next to her. "Nyles. Look at me..." Nyli looked at him. "I don't care if he casts me out. I can live with Ezra and visit you. Nyli you are my friend, and I will always be here for you." Nyli looked at him, tears in her eyes. "Blaze..." Blaze slowly pulled her in and hugged her. "You know why I was so angry last time we met... I found out today... that I..." He hesitated. The words were stuck in his throat. "I-I..." Nyli slowly pulled away from the hug and looked up at him. She started to cry again. "F-Fuck you Blaze!" Blaze seemed surprised by her. "Fuck you for... For making me love you!" She cried. Blaze seemed shocked as she continued to cry. He felt his heart race. "Fuck you..." He said. "Fuck you for making me love you as well..." Nyli looked up at him. Blaze slowly brought his face closer to her's. He pressed his lip's against hers. He could feel Nyli tense for a few seconds, before wrapping her arms around his neck, leaning into the kiss. After a few seconds, he felt her pull away. Both of them were looking at each other. She then grabbed him and pulled him in, kissing him passionately. Blaze melted into the kiss. He felt their tongues collide, dancing with each other. He loved this. He loved her.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!" Blaze and Nyli broke away from the kiss and turned, seeing Keado. Nyli quickly stood. "Dad! I-"
Keado walked over and slapped Nyli. Blaze stood. "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER LIKE THAT!" He stood and raised his fist. He suddenly felt something hit him in the stomach, seeing it was Keado's trident. He fell back, gasping for air. "Blaze!" Nyli yelled.
"You are not welcome in the camp anymore. Come back, and we will kill you..."
Blaze looked up as he saw her starting to drag Nyli by her arm.
"Let, GO OF HER!!!" Blaze aimed his hand at Keado. A beam of fire blasted from it, striking Keado in the chest. Keado flew back, releasing Nyli and slamming into a tree, his clothes burning. Keado looked up at Blaze in horror. "B-Blaze?" Blaze looked at Nyli. She had a shocked look on her face. "I... I was gonna tell you..." Keado stood. His scales were burned, but he seemed like there was no pain. He grabbed his trident, anger filling his eyes. "I should have know." Suddenly, Keado lunged at Blaze, the trident barely missing him. Blaze tried to move but Keado slammed the handle into his face. The world started to fade. "BLAZE!!!" Blaze fell to the ground. The last thing he saw was Nyli reaching for him as everything went dark.

Blaze slowly opened his eyes to murmurs. He tried to lift his hands but they wouldn't move. He was in the camp, in the middle of the clearing. He looked at his arms and legs, bound by metal cuffs, covering his hands and legs behind his back and holding him to the ground on his knees. People surrounded him, looking at him. "W-What's going on!" Keado slowly stepped out in front of him, trident in hand. "Blaze Odysseus Ashfall... you are to be executed for attempted murder, concealment of a criminal, and betraying this camp."
