Chapter 16: The Raid on Elementia

Blaze slowly marched along with a large amount of hybrids behind him. Almost a whole army, decked in armor and weapons. He lead in front with Nyli and Damian behind him. "Alright. Everyone, get ready. Anyone wounded should not fight. Now, all of you have astral powers. My group will be giving you lessons on how to use them. We have limited time so work quickly." All the hybrids muttered amongst each other but agreed. Blaze dispersed them and quickly walked over to Roren, who was holding Titus. "Roren... You need to get ready."
"I know... I'm just worried for him."
Blaze patted him on his back. Roren looked at Blaze, then behind him. Blaze looked behind him and saw Nyli, watching. She smiled and gave a soft nod before turning away. Blaze then felt Roren pace his hand on his cheek. "Blaze..." Blaze looked at Roren. Roren slowly leaned forward and pressed his lips against Blaze's. Blaze froze before slowly pulling away. "Roren?"
"Just... wanted to have someone kiss me before I potentially die..."
Blaze smiled softly as Roren stood and drew his swords. "ALRIGHT POISON PEOPLE, YOU'LL BE WITH ME!" He slowly walked away as Nyli sat next to Blaze.
"You told him to, didn't you."
Nyli chuckled. "Maybeee... I admit he's cute and he has liked you for a bit."
Blaze chuckled and grabbed Nyli, pulling her in and kissing her. "Here's mine... in case I don't-"
"You will... I know it."

The sun slowly set as they prepared for battle. Blaze sat over the hill. Elementia in front of them, in all its glory. The sound of alarms we're going off and humans shouts could be heard. They were preparing. Blaze turns towards the army training. "Alright everyone! Gather round. This is a fight we have been waiting for. We have been locked up, tortured, and killed for a decade because of the humans! It is time we get our revenge on them! Sure, they have guns, and other weapons, but we have our powers! We have each other!" Blaze turned to Nyli and Damian. "The plan?" Both nodded and walked up. Nyli was up first to speak. "Ok. We are splitting everyone into three sections. Each one attacks at different times. We have the C group who goes in first, attacking the first section in, just to the line of the inner city. Once it's mostly cleared, B group will come in and attack the next section with C group fighters who can still fight. After that, A group will come in to clear around the strong hold with any other B and C group fighters. Those who are injured will return back here. Blaze will take a few individuals to go into the stronghold to take down the leader-"
"Pheno..."
Everyone turned to Blaze in shock. "The leader is my dad... Pheno Ashfall..." Aqua slowly walked forward towards Blaze. "He... he tried to kill us...?"
"No... its... hard to explain... Listen... its not him, and I'm gonna make sure we get him back."
Damian nodded and stepped up. "Ok. We need any and all protectors here. If any humans try to attack, strike before they can. I'll split everyone into their groups..."
Blaze looked at Nyli. "You better join your group."
"I already am."
"Nyli you can't come with me to the-"
"I don't give a fuck I'm staying with you."
Roren slowly walked up. "I'm coming too."
"Roren-"
"Abububub. I'm sticking with you and Nyles no mater what." Blaze slightly blushed. Roushe and Pheramone walked up. "We'll go too." Blaze was about to speak but held his tongue. "Ok... this should be enough. For now, you are all A group. I need you all alive by the end."
"What group are you in Blaze?"
"C group."
Everyone around him turned. "What?!"
"Blaze! If you die we're screwed!" Signed Roushe.
"But I need to help in anyway I can."
Nyli was silent but softly nodded. "Fair. Alright... lets get into positions."

Blaze stood on the edge of the hill with all of C group behind him. In the group were Tenel, Okami, Keiko, Kendal, Bio, Aqua, and multiple others. Blaze looked at his sister and smiled softly. Aqua exhaled. "Ok if we are gonna die, Bio I'm in love with you!" Blaze stared as Bio quickly looked at Aqua. "I-uh." Aqua just grabbed Bio and kissed her. Blaze rolled his eyes before stepping forward. "EVERYONE! THIS IS IT! FIGHT TILL YOUR LAST BREATH!!! FOR ELEMENTIA!!!"
"FOR ELEMENTIA!!!" Everyone raised their weapons. Blaze drew his swords. Azar and Inigo, slowly appeared out of the swords and howled. The howl echoed out. "NOW!!!" Blaze dug his swords into the ground. "FIRE TYPE HINO, BURST FORTH!!!" Blaze pulled himself forward, flinging him ahead. He immediately felt his legs running for him. The battle cry of the hybrids behind him ran through his head as he charged to the entrance of city. Blaze heard the sound of bullets whizzing by him. He quickly dodged by sliding, rolling, and flipping. He then reached up close to the humans. The humans started to draw their swords and other weapons. Blaze quickly jumped and slashed, while at the same time, extending his sword into the chain whips. The sword slashed through multiple humans, fire following the blades. Blaze slid before striking again, this time hitting four humans, severing their heads. Blaze sprinted forward and jumped, quickly landing on a wall and jumping off it.
"Hold the swords above your head. Then do the second Hino move"
As if the words made him remember something he never knew, he raised them. "FIRE TYPE HINO..." He slashed down up, and across with his blades. "PYRO SLICES!!!" Immediately the ground was slashed with the pattern he slashed in. Flames burst from the lines and exploded. Humans were blown apart or blown back. Blaze landed and flourished his swords. Immediately, the C group followed. Many bullets were being fired and elements used. Azar and Inigo circled humans and easily killed them with bites to their neck or throat.
Ken stabbed a human with his sickles before slamming it down. "Nature type, Venius. Devils Clubs Snares!" Long plants sudden sprouted from his back. Each one laced with sharp spines. He whipped them around, impaling and killing multiple humans. At the same time, he held out his hand and long vines shot from them. Impaling more and swinging them to the ground. Tenel and Okami were back to back. Tenel flourished his saber as Okami held his battle axe. "Combo time buddy?"
"Its not- Just- come on!" Tenel quickly ran at Okami and jumped. Okami pushed Tenel up into the air. Tenel held out his hands as he spun in the air. Suddenly, ice beams shot out of his hand, freezing the ground.
Okami yelled as he tucked in. "Blood Type Pure! Spewing Spineball!" suddenly, long red spike shot out of his arms, stabbing the frozen enemy. Blaze stood in shock as Okami retracted the spikes.
"Blood type user?! Hohoho, he's also a rare one. Second rarest."
Bio and Aqua fought side by side. Bio plunged her rapier into a human as Aqua slammed her staff into a humans neck. "Bio! Cover me!" Bio nodded as she spun around, surrounding them in a purple green mist. There was silence when a sudden impulse of water absorbed the poison and blew the humans back. The humans hit yelled as their skin melted. Aqua spun her staff as Bio flourished her rapier. "Thanks sweets!~"
"Oh shush!~" Blaze immediately turned as he saw more humans coming. He ran forward and let go of his swords. He quickly spun them on the cables they were on. He heard guns fire at him.
"Spin your swords in front of you!"
Blaze moved his swords in front of him. Bullets ricocheted from the blades, some luckily hitting the humans. When he was close enough, he spun himself. The swords spun on the cables as they slashed multiple humans. Blaze kept his eyes closed as he continued spinning. He felt blood splatter on his armor and fur. Eventually, the swords stopped hitting things and he pulled them back. He opened his eyes as he saw multiple humans ahead. He raised his hand in the air and fired a ball of fire into the air. It exploded once it was high enough.
