*Esme's POV*

I barely make it on time to check in after dropping Cole off at his classroom.

"Good Morning Beth, what's wrong?" I ask as I pass by an upset looking receptionist.

She rolls her eyes and shakes her head trying to brush it off, "Just a couple of kids that just moved here from New York." She leans forwards and motions me to do the same.

"There's a rumor going around they were one of the biggest and most feared gangs over there, but no one knows why they moved here."

I rolled my eyes, "You should know better than to trust rumors Beth."

She shrugged but grinned, "A girls' gotta get her gossip from somewhere."

I shook my head in exasperation, "Is there any thing for me to do yet?" I ask.

She holds up a finger while she shifts through papers on her desk, "Yes, Mr. Kennedy needs you to deliver a box of glass beakers over to him and after Mr. Green has two packages waiting to be delivered, he also wonders if you could go to Starbucks and pick up a Grande Americano with two sugars."

I nod and start walking out the door, "No problem. DO you want anything while I'm there?"

She nods, "A Grande skinny pumpkin spice latte, please." I smile and head out towards my car.

There is a Starbucks just a few blocks down from the school, so the task only took me about 15 minutes.

I dropped off Beth's latte first, which she smiled gratefully for, then headed to the teacher's lounge to pick up the packages and made my way over to Mr. Green's room, with his coffee in hand.

I knocked on his door once then entered, and I kid you not, the first thing I noticed were the girls with their shirts pulled down and their skirts pulled up.

My eyes roamed the class room, looking for the source. In the back were a group of about six guys, watching me along with everyone else. Hmm, now it makes sense, they must be the boys from New York.

I turned my attention back to Mr. Green when I heard him yell, "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! ARE ALL MY STU-oh sorry Esme." HE apologizes when he turns to see me.

I smile understandably as I hand him his coffee, "It's alright, here are your packages also."

He takes the packages, places them on his desk, then hands me an envelope. I turned my back to the class as I open the envelope. My eyes quickly scanning the contents before closing it and putting it in the inner pocket of my flannel.

"If you don't anything else Sir, I have another matter to attend to."

He gestured to the door, "No but thank you Esme."

I nod and turn to leave but glance at the boys once more, a pair of grey eyes  meet my green ones, before I shut the door behind me.

I head to the storage department of the science building, then dropped off the box of glass beakers with Mr. Kennedy, the biology teacher.
